THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Bill Thomas, 78, beloved husband of Mrs. Rosemary Griffin, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010, in the University Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. James Ramsey officiating. Mr. Thomas was a native of Arkansas, but had lived in Thomson most of his life. He was the Owner of Bill Thomas Acoustical Ceilings, and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Mr. Thomas was proceeded in death by his Parents, Roy M. Thomas, & Lillian Basset Thomas, a sister, Donna Gail Thomas. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosemary Griffin Thomas, Thomson; a daughter, Cheryl Thomas, Missouri; his two sons, David (Carolyn) Lee Thomas, Gary M. Thomas, Both of Thomson; his two step-sons, Keith Griffin, Thomson, Ron (Angie) W. Griffin, Spartanburg SC., a brother, Joe Thomas, Thomson; his grandchildren, Paul (Stacey) Thomas, Cathy (Jonathan) Thomas Shelton, Cameron Griffin, Haley Griffin, Casey WineMiller, Evan Winemiller, Erica Griffin, Gary Thomas Jr. Three Great Grandchildren.
