Ivey Hall Clark (GARFIELD, Ga.)

GARFIELD, Ga. - Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Ivey Hall Clark, age 82 of Garfield, GA on Monday, November 2, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Sam Bowen, Elder Tommy Rountree and Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating. Mr. Clark will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Mt Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 6-8 PM. Pallbearers are Jason Berry, Jarrett Berry, Carson Clark, Landon Clark, Adam Clark, Stacy Spivey, Scott Hutchens and John Cowart. Mr. Ivey Clark was a retired farmer and avid pecan producer. He attended Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents JKH (Jim) and Eva Hall Clark. Survivors include: His Wife: Sara Rountree Clark of Garfield, GA; Two Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Carolyn and James Deal of Statesboro, GA and Mary and Rick Berry of Lyons, GA; Three Sons: James and Melanie Clark of Baxley, GA, Clay and Melanie Clark of Garfield, GA and John and Gayle Clark of Statesboro, GA.; One Sister and Brother-In-Law: Jeanette and Ray Bass of Leslie, GA.; 11 Grandchildren: Leslie Hutchens, Jason Berry, Jarrett Berry, Eva Spivey, Carson Clark, Kristen Clark, Kara Clark, Landon Clark, Rachel Clark, Adam Clark and Ashleigh Clark; 9 Great- Grandchildren.
