David Hope (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. David Hope, of Dewitt Street, entered into rest Friday, October 2, 2009, at the Medical College of Ga. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Burial will be at First Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a native of Aiken, S.C., a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, an Electrician, employed by Babcock & Wilcox, a Radio Repairman, worked for the Board of Education in Long Island City and the Special Officers of the New York Police Department. Survivors are one daughter, Mildred Hope-Lark, Hope Mills, N.C.; four grandchildren, Javon (Sandra) Crawford, North Augusta, S.C., Floyd (Elizabeth) Lark, Jr., Midlothian, Va., and Julian (Alicia) Lark II, Augusta, and Nia Lark Leak, Lumberton, N.C.; granddaughter, Nia Lark-Leak, Fayetteville, N.C.; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
