Patrick H. Johnston   (MILLEN, Ga.)

MILLEN, Ga. - Patrick Henry Johnston, Jr., 76, entered into rest Wednesday, July 1, 2009. He was born in Jenkins County, a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, retired owner of Custom T. V., and member of the Millen United Methodist Church. He was also, a member of the American Legion, a Mason, a Gideon, and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Patrick H. Johnston Sr., a sister, Joyce Gamble, and a granddaughter, Anna Conway. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Millen United Methodist Church with Rev. Christy Bandy and Eddie Conway officiating. Burial will be in the Millen Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of fifty three years, Edrenelle W. Johnston of Millen; seven children, Kiki (Eddie) Conway, Christy (Bobby) Walker and Vickie (Roy) Cook all of Millen, Micky (Billy) Oglesby of Sardis, Ricky (Bunny) Johnston of San Antonio, TX, Nicky Johnston of Lake City, FL, Dicky (Melissa) Johnston of Bellvile, IL; a brother, Floyd Johnston of Rocky Ford; a sister, Mary Alice Clayton of Brandon, FL.; 22 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Active Pallbearers will be grandsons, Randy Chance, Chad Oglesby, Andy Chance, Patrick Oglesby, Ryan Cook, Will Oglesby, Chas Conway, Todd Johnston, Ethan Conway, Gresham Conway, and Mason Johnston. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men's Prayer Group, Roy Cook, F. A. Black, Ramond Reese, Hubert Reeves, and Robert Reeves. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 Saturday at the residence.
