AUGUSTA, Ga. - The book of life for Mrs. Freddie Mae Coleman closed on Monday evening, February 16, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Pete Coleman, Sr. and daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Nathaniel and Mattie Gaines. She leaves to mourn: three daughters, Mrs. Elaine Williams (John), Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Peggy Daniels (Willie), Wilson, N.C., Charlene Lofton (Roderick), Grovetown, Ga.; three sons, Pete Coleman, Jr. (Resharda), Thomas Coleman (Demetria), Wayne Coleman (Sharon), all of Augusta, Ga.; thirty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Jannie Mae Givens, Augusta, Ga., Annie Ruth Seabrook, Savannah, Ga., Luretha Holmes, Waynesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Thomas Gaines, Nathaniel Gaines, both of Augusta, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Annie Bell Jones, Eloise Sams (Robert), Edna Martin (Johnnie), Louise Singleton (Carl), Mae Devoe (Jerry), Brenda Coleman; brothers-in-law, Burnis Coleman, Jr. (Alice), Lewis Coleman (Debra), Moses Coleman (Joy), James Coleman (Emma), Sammie Coleman; one god-son, Douglas Edwards; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
