'Lady Margaret' Heffer (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Born Florence Margaret Waters, June 6, 1915 in London, England. Beloved mother entered into rest Dec. 15, 2008. With the mischievous twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes and her ready smile, Lady Margaret brought joy and laughter to many. We will miss her. Preceded in death by her husband Frank and her son, Brian; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Malcolm and Dorothy Heffer of Richmond, Va. and her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Sid Hatfield of Augusta, Lincolnton, Ga. Additional survivors are grandsons, Rory Hanson, Augusta, Ga.; Christopher Heffer, Altamonte Springs, Fla.; her granddaughter, Dawn Strickland, Chester, Virginia and four great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Pastor Clifton and Mrs. Gail O'Bryan for the exceptional loving care given to mother these past nine years. We are so grateful. Because mother so enjoyed her Augusta restaurant experiences (You know who you are!), we thank you for making them such happy memories. Finally, the family wishes to acknowledge with heartfelt gratitude, the very compassionate care shown to our mother by the entire staff at Heartland Hospice Hospital. A Private Memorial Service was held. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, c/o HCR Manor Care Foundation, 333 N. Summit St., P.O.
