James A. Stewart (WARRENTON, Ga.)

WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. James A. Stewart, age 81, beloved husband of Mrs. Peggy Truitt Stewart of Willards Way died Friday July 11, 2008 at the Gibson Health & Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Jennings Baptist Church Cemetery, Taliaferro County, GA with the Revs. John Lance and Wayne Usry officiating. Mr. Stewart , a native of Taliaferro County, GA was the son of the late Mr. Carl W. and Mrs. Luna Mae Ogletree Stewart. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and a U. S. Army veteran of WW II and a member of Jennings Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Peggy Lee Truitt Stewart, two sons, Jimmy L. (Jimmie) Stewart, Warrenton, GA,, Thomas A. Stewart, Cedertown, GA, one daughter, Ann S. (Bobby) Walker, Rayle, GA., five grandchildren, Gunn Stewart, Clay Walker, Eddie Walker, Ben Stewart, Rebecca Stewart, eight great grandchildren, Gunner Stewart, Jayce Stewart, Brett Walker, Chase Walker, Cecilia Walker, Sylvia Walker, Graham Stewart, and Reeva Money. Pallbearers will be Clay Walker, Eddie Walker, Chase Walker, Gunn Stewart, Gunner Stewart, Ben Stewart, and Randy Stewart. Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P. M. Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
