BATH, S.C. - Entered into rest Saturday, May 17th, 2008, Mrs. Hattie Bernice Hymer, 98, of Bath, SC, beloved wife of the late John D. Hymer and daughter of the late William Amos and Louisa L. Martin Cobb. Born in Bullock County, GA, she had been a resident of Bath, SC, most of her life where she retired from Bath Mill. She was a member of Bath United Methodist Church and the WMU. Family members include daughters, Hazel Carolyn (Neeley) Pharis, Elmore, AL and Sandra Faye (Neeley) Mathis, Canton, IL; grandchildren, Micki Jackson, Deatsville, AL, Ann Burge, Morton, IL, Geri Rashid and Leo L. Young, Jr., Brandon, FL, and Troy Mathis, Arnold, MO; fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; niece, Louella Kirkland, Warrenville, SC and step nephew and niece, Jimmy and Brenda Davis, Langley, SC. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 24th, 2008, at 2 o'clock at Bath United Methodist Church, Bath, SC, with Pastor Wade Everett and Pastor Jerry Nelson officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Taylor Jackson, Chad Jackson, Howard Seigler, and Robbie Main. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
