Mollie Wilson-Shuman (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mollie "Cosnahan" Wilson-Shuman, 80, entered into rest Monday, April 21, 2008, at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Shuman was born in Bath, SC to the late Charlie and Bertha Cosnahan. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Claude W. Wilson and Grady L. Shuman and a brother Paul Cosnahan. Mrs. Shuman was a life long resident of Augusta, GA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved sewing, quilting and collecting angels and lighthouses. She was best known for her collections of salt and pepper shakers. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She loved gospel music, but most of all she loved Jesus. Survivors include daughters: Brenda W. Tatum and husband David, Shirley W. Harrison and husband Robert, Diane W. Morris and stepdaughter: LaTrell Gilbert: sons: Troy W. Wilson and wife Linda, Dennis Wilson and wife Barbara; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy C. Dixon and husband Ray, Irene C. Steimel and husband Don, Betty C. Baum and brother: J.T. Cosnahan and wife Mary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Crestview Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Sanders and Rev. Lester Clark officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Phillips, Robert R. Harrison, Jr., Ted M. James, Richard N. Morris, Richard W. Morris, Joe Simpson, Duran McClain and Mark W. Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Kennedy Sunshine Sunday School Class at Crestview. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Crestview Baptist Church, 2632 Mike Padgett Highway, Augusta, GA 30906.
