Juanita was an office administrator for many years and retired in 1984 from Milton Ruben Porsche Audi. She was a faithful member of His Community Church (formally Fleming Church of God) for over 35 years. She had a great love for L.O.T.S. Place (homeless shelter) in downtown Augusta and volunteered her time generously. Juanita was a woman full of humor whom everyone loved to pick on. She could never display a "poker face" while playing Old Maid Cards and she could not whistle. She loved to travel on cruise ships, even though she feared the water. Juanita always entered contests on board ships without realizing that some were wet tee shirt or talent contests. She could never be quiet and always, always started her best conversations in a quiet elevator. Juanita was a fantastic cook and was asked by many to bake her specialty cakes at Christmas. She will be greatly missed by all those who truly knew her kind, humorous, and generous spirit. Her children will certainly miss the touch of her beautiful hands which were soft and loving.
