W.H. Harper (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)

WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. W.H. 'PeeWee' Harper, Sr. 96, husband of the late Mrs. Fannie McNorrill Harper entered into rest Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Burke County Medical Center. Graveside services will be held (today) Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. in Burke Memorial Gardens with Reverend Wayne Dixon officiating. Mr. Harper was a native of Richmond County and had lived most of his life in Burke County. He was retired as Vice President from Burke Truck and Tractor and a member of Botsford Baptist Church. Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his son Ray Harper. Survivors include: his son and daughter-in-law: W.H.'Dub'and Jackie Harper, Jr. of Waynesboro, daughter-in-law, Mary Harper of Waynesboro, Five grandchildren and Thirteen great-grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Crockett, Bobby Shaw, David Boggs, Joe Foster, George Young, Sammy Jenkins, Dr. B. Lamar Murray, John Flakes, Alvin Bell, Walter Degenhardt and Sheriff Greg Coursey.
