Nona P. Boltin (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - On Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, Jesus and His angels came to take Nona home. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Major James Hall of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Miss Nona Pearl Boltin was born on May 20, 1946 in Augusta. She was a member of the Salvation Army, and attended the Lynnwood workshop for many years. She also was an avid bowler, and was a member of the AMBUCS Exceptional Bowling League. She is survived by her two brothers, Hazel Grady "Sonny" Boltin of Augusta, and James Robert "Bob" Boltin and his wife, Billie Bezee Boltin of Gonzales, LA. She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews and their spouses, Christine and Keith Dornier, Michele and Lucien Steib, Sherry and Jesse Waguespack, Sandy and Todd Roussel, Rob and Carrie Boltin, and Jay and Ann Boltin, sixteen great nieces and nephews, and two great great nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Eugene "Gene" Hazard Boltin and Christine Kearse Boltin, and her sister in law, Betty Louise Ivey Boltin.
