Milton L. Rushton (GRANITEVILLE, S.C.)

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Completed life's journey Wednesday, November 14, 2007, Mr. Milton L. Rushton of Graniteville, loving husband of Marian Thompson Rushton and son of the late Duayne Rushton and the late Myra Trotter Rushton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Virgil T. Rushton of Greenwood, S.C. and Donald A. Rushton of Colorado; a sister, Agnes Lewis of Aiken and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Reginald F. Rushton and Clayton D. Rushton and a sister, Sara Rushton. He was born in Saluda County, S.C. but has been a resident of Aiken County for the past 52 years. He was a retired Warehouse Overseer with Graniteville Company. He was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville. He was a US Army Veteran having served his country during the Korean Conflict. Milton was a quite spoken gentle person who was a friend to all he met. He will be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched; surely Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. James Young officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley, S.C. The pallbearers will be Jessie Moyer, Ken Screws, Harold Bledsoe, Larry Duffer, Keith Harrington, Eddie Renew and Ed Inabinet. The family will receive friends at the residence in Graniteville or tonight, Friday, November 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Napier Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O.
