Benjamin P. Bryan (TENNILLE, Ga.)

TENNILLE, Ga. - Mr. Benjamin Peter Bryan, Sr., age 59, of 3300 Tennille Oconee Road in Tennille, died Monday morning, September 3 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6 in the First Baptist Church of Sandersville with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Mr. Bryan was the owner and operator of Bryan Welding and Fabrication and a former shop foreman for Imerys for over 35 years. Survivors are his wife, Paula Young Bryan of Tennille; a daughter, Stephanie Leigh Bryan MacAfee of Riddleville; a son, Benjamin Peter Bryan, Jr. of Riddleville; a stepdaughter, Lindsey Kelly Smith of Tennille; grandchildren, Trent James Pasmore, Thomas Ivey Bryan, Bryan Todd McAfee, and Mackenzie Leigh McAfee; four sisters, Joyce Bryan Teague of Gainesville, Faye Bryan Goodman of Stone Mountain, Claire Bryan Burke of Monahans, Texas and Patsy Bryan Bridges of Riddleville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tennille Rotary Club, P.O. Box 1, Tennille, Georgia 31089 or the American Heart Association, 1105 Fury's Lane, Suite D, Augusta, Ga. 30907. May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements. The family will be at the Bryan residence, 3300 Tennille Oconee Road in Tennille and will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home, 1119 Riddleville Road in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 5.
