James L. Tripp (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. James Lee Tripp, Sr., 59, of Crestlyn Drive, entered into rest Sunday, February 4, 2007 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2007 in the chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Dr. Gary C. Redding officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC with military honors. The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home one hour prior to the memorial service. Mr. Tripp was born in Washington, NC and had lived in Tarboro, NC prior to moving to North Augusta, thirty-eight years ago. He was U. S. Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith and was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include one son, James L. Tripp, Jr., and one daughter, Kathy Tripp both of Augusta, GA; one brother, William R.
