EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Emma Collier Lowe, formerly of Detroit, Michigan, age 96, entered into rest Monday, January 15, 2007 at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Viola Collier Sullivan, 779 Furys Ferry Rd., Evans, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Bethany Baptist Church in Clark Hill, S.C. with Rev. Dan Stewart, officiating and Rev. Winston Oliver, Pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 10:15 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 2007 from 6 to 7 p.m. Mrs. Lowe was the wife of the late John Lowe of Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Clark Hill, S.C. She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Mrs. Viola Collier Sullivan; one daughter, Ms. Beatrice Lowe of Detroit, Michigan; five nieces, her devoted niece and caregiver, Alice B. Sullivan, Johnnie (William)Kennedy, Emma (Robert) Stokes, all of Evans, Ga., Ms. Beatrice Sullivan Walker, Augusta, Ga., Dorothy (James) Johnson, Laurinburg, N.C.; four nephews, Samuel (Roberta) Sullivan, Brooklyn, N.Y., Samuel (Barbara) Sullivan, Suitland, Md., Leon (Helen) Sullivan, Washington, D.C., and Greggory G.
