From the article: They fled

From the article:

They fled the scene before deputies arrived.

How does the reporter know this? How does the reporter even know that there was more than one occupant of the vehicle? The driver of the vehicle might have walked calmly away from the "scene" instead of fleeing. And how does the investigator know that the vehicle drove across Trolley Line Road? Someone could have pushed the vehicle into the canal.

And instead of saying the truck, “had to be pulled from the canal,” the reporter should have said the truck, “was pulled from the canal.” Let's face it, they could have just left the truck in the canal. They had options.

Go figure! More SC drivers!

Go figure! More SC drivers! Ever noticed how they mind the speed limit on their side of the Savannah and then they try to keep up with us GA drivers on the Bobby Jones. Palmetto Parkway speed limit 55; Bobby Jones speed limit 70.
