DAILY ACTIVITIES
A way to use the paper everyday in every classroom.

Scan your daily newspaper for a story on a major international event and present these questions:

How much information was actually presented?

What was the headline?

Where was the story placed in the paper?

What people were mentioned?

What facts were presented?

What places were mentioned?

What interpretive information was included in the story?

You can also include a class discussion about the facts presented and possibly make story conclusions.

We also have the end of the roll newsprint available to schools at no cost to you. This is blank newsprint, ideal for classroom and art projects. Please contact us for more information.
