Auction date set for Vick's home

Michael Vick 's suburban Atlanta home will be offered for sale to the highest bidder March 10.

The judge presiding over Vick's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case issued an order Tuesday and set an opening bid of $3.2 million for the eight-bedroom home in Duluth, Ga. The auction will be held in either Atlanta or Gwinnett County.

SAINTS: Running back Deuce McAllister was released in a move that reduced the team's payroll. He was due more than $7 million next season.

Cowboys: Owner Jerry Jones said he hasn't decided whether to keep or cut Terrell Owens . After the subject was seemingly put to rest, Jones brought it up again -- with a hint that T.O. is staying.

"You and I both know that the one that you're asking about all the time, if I gave you the answer that you want to hear, then you would've already had it. So the fact you don't have it ought to tell you something. It really should," Jones told reporters.

LIONS: Restructured the contract of quarterback Daunte Culpepper and signed kicker Jason Hanson and guard Stephen Peterman to long-term deals.

GIANTS: Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has returned to a jail in Virginia to finish serving a 60-day sentence for a parole violation.

PANTHERS: Laid off approximately 20 employees, according to a team spokesman. That number does not include director of player development Donnie Shell , who announced his retirement.
