Augustan to be on Team Ritter in New York City Marathon

Augusta native Katelynn Bell will join Team Ritter to run in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 3.

Team Ritter was founded by the Amy Yasbeck, widow of actor John Ritter, to raise money for the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health.

The foundation supports genetic research and public education.

John Ritter starred in Three’s Company and 8 Simple Rules.

He died suddenly in September 2003 because of an undiagnosed acute aortic dissection.

Bell is currently a school teacher in South Korea.
