Milestones

Savannah River Remediation presented the Senior Citizens Council a check for $500 as part of SRR's Zero Injuries campaign. The campaign awards $500 to a local charity each month SRR employees work a month without injuries that result in days away from work. The charity that receives the check is chosen by SRR employees. Marine Corps Pvt. Nathan C. Spradley III has graduated from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He is the son of Deby J. and Nathan C. Spradley and a 2012 graduate of Hephzibah High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. Roosevelt L. Williams has graduated from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He is the son of Roe Briggs.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Elizabeth S. Gambrell has completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Marian Shai and a 2007 graduate of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School.

Accepted to Cambridge

Olivia Carpenter has been accepted to Cambridge University in England. She will graduate this year with an LLB from Swansea University in Wales. She is the daughter of Virginia and John Green.
