Handed the winning ticket for the $5,000 grand prize drawing at the March 22 Augusta Charity Golf Classic, the president of the Augusta Exchange Club immediately recognized the name of Rebecca Flake, one of his employees at Hull Storey Gibson Cos. LLC, an Augusta a shopping center acquisition and development company

He also remembered that he had bought a ticket for Flake from the roughly 2,000 sold. So when he called to congratulate his employee of 61/2 years, he was quick to take credit for buying the winning ticket. "Maybe," Flake said, "but I bought a ticket, too. What color is the ink?"

She knew that Storey used only black ink and that she used only blue.

The ink was blue, Storey admitted before presenting the $5,000 check to Flake at the Exchange Club's April 14 meeting.

Flake has plans for the $5,000. She's getting married in September, and she and her fiance, Trayten Cockrell, will honeymoon in Jamaica on the winning ticket.
