United Way donation

International Paper has donated $50,200 to United Way of the CSRA for the 2010 Campaign. The check included International Paper's employee contributions and corporate match.

In Macy's Parade

Danielle Kohberger , 20, of Augusta, is a company cast member of The Young Americans, a Southern California-based non-profit performing arts company that will be performing Winter Wonderland today on NBC's telecast of the Macy's Parade.

- Army National Guard Pvt. Anastasia B. Paige , a 2005 graduate of A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet High School and daughter of Fonda Blair, of Augusta, and Virgil Brown, of Columbia, has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

- Adam R. Newberry , son of Sonny and Nancy Newberry, of Augusta, graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.

- Army Pvt. Sharonda L. Young , daughter of Sharon and Anthony Dyers, of Augusta, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.
