Carla Wong McMillian , a 1991 graduate of Westminster and daughter of Yau Kwan Wong, of Augusta, has been appointed to a judgeship in state court of Fayette County, Ga.

Earns certification

Jesse A. Johnson , a native of Augusta and director of human resources for the State Board of Pardons and Paroles, recently earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Junior League board

Junior League of Augusta has named the following members of its 2010-2011 executive board:

Raises $2 million

The 2010 SRS Employee United Way Campaign, a joint effort between Savannah River Nuclear Solutions and Savannah River Remediation, raised more than $2 million for United Way.

Military news

- Wesley R. Meno , a 2006 graduate of John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and son of Dale R. and Rhonda G. Meno, of Augusta, has graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. He is a student at Augusta State University.
