"Why are so many post's

"Why are so many post's unopposed this is not a good sign." Are you talking about the state House districts? Classic sign of meandered state voting districts based on race. Georgia is so screwed up nobody cares who they send to Atlanta as long as they are the right color. As long as the (I)ncumbent is the right color for that district the parties see no reason to run a challenger unless the (I)ncumbent has committed the sin of actually voting in a bipartisan manner to get something accomplished. Both parties do it and that is why GA is and always will be a backward state. GA's motto should be "Stuck in the 60s 'cause that's the way we like it".

Gerrymandered districts to

Gerrymandered districts to achieve racial parity is a direct violation of the Constitution, which the federal courts have cheerfully approved.
