IF PROJECT JACKSON is developed along the Savannah River, it will be another sad story. Think smart, North Augusta. Maintain the uniqueness of the river and its history and future residents will be proud to call North Augusta a “really nice place.”

WHY DO PEOPLE assume that every legally bought gun will magically work in the hands of the owner? Notice all those guns so easily stolen from homes of gun owners? Who can guarantee that gun toters can use them against crooks without having the gun taken away as an extra weapon for the crooks?

THE REALITY OF Republicans is that they are not for real working people. They have ideas that most people are lazy good-for-nothings who don’t deserve help. They also decide that they can live and work in America but keep most all the taxes away (Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Switzerland). So, naturally most hardworking, taxpaying people properly support Democrats to figure out better ways for most Americans.

THOSE WHO COMPLAINED about too many of our soldiers were being killed and maimed in wars should not wish to jump back into Iraq again.

RIVER WATCH PARKWAY is a race-car circuit, and everyone but the would-be NASCAR drivers in Columbia County should be in the right lane. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has delegated this a “do not patrol” zone like most routes from Columbia County through Richmond County during rush hour. Heaven forbid someone from another county should get a ticket for speeding.

WHAT IS THIS WORLD coming to when someone who sexually bothers our children can get out in two years and not be listed as a sex offender?

THE WHITE HOUSE IS rushing down a bucket of whitewash to the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl investigation to make sure that it comes out in their favor. I hope I am wrong but I can see this deserter getting off scot-free.

WHEN WE BEAR witness to tragedy we need to be cognizant of the gory details we add on social media. A prime example is the lady who lost her life in the wreck on Peach Orchard. Some witnesses, wanting their five minutes of fame, posted graphic details on The Chronicle about the wreck. Please be mindful of others’ feelings and situations because one day they could be ours. Thank you, God, for the considerate witnesses who tried to shield the scene from the inconsiderate witnesses who were taking pictures.

#3: another obviously
Unpublished

#3: another obviously brain-washed comment from the left. ho hum. so predictable, it's getting beyond ludicrous. these must be the most un-informed, willfully misguided bunch of people known to mankind. i bet if their idol picked up a flute and started tooting, they'd follow him off a cliff, believing he was leading them into paradise lost. i can venture a guess that most republicans who work don't have off-shore accounts in the cayman's or switzerland, mostly because after their paychecks are raped by the current administration, there's no money left to put anywhere, much less an off-shore account. i can also venture a guess that yes, there probably are rich republicans who do this off-shore account thing, just as there are probably rich democrats, libertarians, and independents who do the same: protect their own interests and have nest eggs for the big 'if'. so, you see, #3, self-serving interests cross all political parties and boundaries. if you don't think your democrat idols aren't hoarding some money away for a rainy day, think again. and if you think the democrats really care about the regular, common people and their plight, you're a bigger fool than your comment would suggest.

Politicians don't care about

Politicians don't care about anybody but themselves and their buddies. It is not limited to any particular party.

Here he comes----

Dr Ben Carson in politics.....wow

Here's a news development that may put a smile on the faces of conservatives and liberals alike, if for somewhat different reasons:

Dr. Ben Carson—the retired neurosurgeon-cum-conservative rock star—announced he is starting his own political action committee, taking him one step closer to announcing a presidential run in 2016.

The Washington Times, for which Carson writes a column, broke the news on Friday. The PAC, called One Nation, echoes the title of Carson's recent book, which he is on tour to promote.

“Now is the time to start all of the appropriate exploration and investigation, and put down the structure that is necessary,” Carson told the Washington Times.

We all know that the 2012 GOP presidential field set standards that will be difficult if not impossible to top. But stay tuned, because I think this new crop has real potential too.

oooh, this will be funny watching Sharpton spin this...lol

Ranter #3 seems to think that

Ranter #3 seems to think that if the Republicans want to see people get educated and actually get a job that's a bad thing. The democrats want to see as many people as possisble on the government dole and that's supposed to be a good thing?

This administration has raised taxes on corporations and imposed many new regulations on all businesses forcing many to do business overseas in order to make a profit - which, by the way, is why they're in business to begin with. If he bothered to investigate, he'd see that most of these businesses are run by CEOs who support and defend this administration and contribute to this administration. In other words, they are run by liberals!

The unions also support, defend and contribute to this administration. They are run by liberals. Because of them, many businesses have closed shop here and taken their business overseas. Thanks again to democrat-run unions.

Does ranter #3 realize that this sorry prez has money in overseas accounts also along with many rich democrats? If he'd look up the list of politicians' net worth, he'd find there are many dems with more wealth than some Republicans. Does he know how much money this prez had accumulated just since he's been in office - more than anyone on this R&R will ever earn in a lifetime.

Most importantly, whatever money a person or business earns should be their money to do with whatever they wish. It is not my or anyone else's obligation to give our money to anyone else. I didn't work all my life to give my money to someone who has a sore finger and wants to collect disability or some woman who is nothing but a baby factory.

In spite of the fact that government tries to confiscate every dime from hard working citizens, it is not the government's right to telll anyone how much they can earn or where they can invest their money.

Once again looking to Overseas media for answers and facts

Today I found yet another one of those articles, that too many USA papers and Media Outlets don't want to address or delay as long as long as possible from presenting.

Quoting from the story:
"Vickers, 64, told MailOnline on Wednesday that since 2012 his organization, the Texas Border Volunteers, has counted 259 dead bodies in his native Brooks County alone, including those of children." Think about this 259 dead in just 1 Texas county then consider the other border states and the total number of border counties in the USA.

BUT
"The federal government doesn't keep statistics on how many dead immigrants' bodies are recovered, the DHS official told MailOnline." So I guess, if this Liberal administration doesn't count the dead, they can say "we have no records of any one dying."

REMEMBER
When Obama started talking about the DREAM Act and all of that stuff back in 2012 the Invasion flow started. In Short Obama invited these people to their deaths for his political agenda reasons, and has not issued statements to the same areas to curtail the Illegal invasion.

The Whole Exclusive Article can be read here.

Remember this is what Obama calls Humanitarian Efforts

Pictures of death

This week I saw photos of bodies of the plane crash in the Ukraine....one was a man still strapped to his seat in an open field...my heart ached for his kin. I'm sure some saw his clothing & knew it was their love one..what a shame.

What a heart breaking view.....are humans that cruel, the news can be gut wrenching when it is your child-brother-love one.

Ranter #2 needs to look at

Ranter #2 needs to look at the statistics and compare those cities/states with tough gun laws to cities with conceal carry permits available to law abiding citizens.

True, a lot of guns get stolen or an unscrupulous person purchases a gun for a felon. In spite of these isolated incidences, criminals who just think someone may have a gun is less likely to attack that person.

Every time a homeowner or would-be victim of a crime shoots a thug, it is not reported in many liberal newspapers or on the mainstream media outlets. Mostly because this would enforce the notion that allowing legal gun ownership is a good idea.

Riverwatch

That ranter who wants Columbia County residents driving on Riverwatch to be ticketed reminds me of the wino with the grocery cart full of bottles on the side of15th St. shouting at motorists, “Slow down, this a residential neighborhood.”

I doubt anyone, Republican,

I doubt anyone, Republican, Dem or Libertarian, wants this nation in another war. We have lost too many young men and women already.

If we had another president with experience in foreign policy other than one who just lived in or visited a few overseas countries for a short time as a child, we may not be in this situation.

This administration has sat back and let things escalate to a point where there is very little the U.S. can do to stop the progress of terroristic aggression, massive violence and unrest in the middle east. The impending annhilation of one or the other - Israel or Gaza, the final steps of Iran's nuclear program, and the U.S. circling the bowl.

Speaking softly only works when you carry a big stick!

JTF, Yeah Buddy

JTF, I'm starting to watch ESPNU with college game replays, heh. THIS year is going to be sumpin. Dang, it makes me want a beer as I sit here looking out at the golf course thinking about football. Nothing prettier in this world than drunk coeds at a Southern college football game. They turn into Southern ladies who marry well. Heh.

The problem with the USA and WAR is simple

Just threaten the USA and we start spending $$$$ hand over fist for a larger military and start sending troops to far off countries to die.

I have long said, just start sending in LARP - SFOD's or the CIA OA's to take out the leaders. Of course, that would put our leaders at the level of risk.

Maybe both leaderships would think twice if that is how wars were waged?

But think of the $Billions, certain groups make off each war, that are heavily invested in The Military Industrial Complex or own parts of it or provide support to it at various levels?

I knew there was a reason to LOVE trees!

The next time you walk by a tree, you might be passing one that's saved someone's life ... well, sort of: a new study published by the USDA Forest Services found that trees save more than 850 lives a year and prevent something around 670,000 incidences of acute respiratory symptoms.

EBOLA Virus coming to Ga

RM1 is right,

Is there nothing President Obama won't allow in the USA.

My son told me yesterday that his HAZ-MAT Team, that provides 2nd level backup for the CDC and Emory, had been briefed and additional precautions in case of the "REMOTE CHANCE" of a secondary contact transmission spread.

While the CDC brings in 1000's of deadly samples a year, and the Largest deadly Germ bank in the USA, is actually on WEB GINN Rd in Gwinnett County.

This is different, these are live people for now, that will require daily cleaning, handling and exams. Each disposal of waste, contact materials and each bio suit contact increases the odds of a mistake.

BTW: CDC allows Doctors and Labs to also use the US Mail to send sealed samples.

Miles away from downtown..

I'm not in downtown but a deadly disease can travel.....some say, no worry because of all the precautions....well, they caught it didn't they?

Just hope they are treated & it heals them.....maybe they can find a cure for this.......what a way to destroy a nation.....I'm sure the terror group has thought of this too.

Another reason to be cautious about illegals coming in. imho

"but keep most all the taxes

"but keep most all the taxes away (Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Switzerland)"

Heh heh heh, yep. That is where I keep all of my money.....the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Switzerland......but now I have to go get it because I need TO PAY MY ELECTRIC BILL..... and FOR SOMEONE ELSES OBAMACARE.....and for all of the ILLEGAL ALIENS.....and for 47 million people's FOOD STAMPS.

If Ranter #3 had even one toe in "reality" they would realize that EVERYTHING the DEMOCRATS do devastates "real working people".

Most Republicans believe that you should WORK and EARN YOUR OWN KEEP...and if you DON'T you are, in fact, 'lazy good-for-nothings". The DEMOCRATS believe that I SHOULD WORK and earn YOUR KEEP. I'm tired of supporting your sorry butts.

And I think that "most hardworking, taxpaying people" are seeing that the DEMOCRATS DO NOT HAVE A CLUE as to how to "figure out better ways for most Americans". Their only solutions are to run more jobs and more investment OUT OF THE COUNTRY, take more from WORKING MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE and give it to the chronic welfare leeches, and drive the cost of electricity and food sky high with STUPID energy policies and environmental red herrings.

Where's your river home located? I'm not asking you to post your address, something like in a subdivision in Augusta or secluded in the woods near Burton's ferry would work. I'd love to have a river home.
