Comments from readers:

IT’S BAD ENOUGH my tax dollars pay for you to have your children, but then I have to help pay to feed and house them. I then have to pay to keep them in jail. Can you at least keep an eye on them so they can stay out of my way while I’m trying to work?

PEOPLE WHO ARE opposed to President Obama are just racists? From the Democratic Party that promoted slavery, Jim Crow, abortion and the ghetto? Also, poverty among blacks has increased under Obama. Talk about a paradox. This is laughable. Maybe the people who voted for Obama just because of his color are just as racist? Hmmmm.

THIS IS FOR ANYONE who would promote anti-Americanism to our young people: If America is so evil, then why don’t you give back your freedoms, your Christianity, your economic standing and social standing? Name a country which donates billions to Third World countries in South America, Africa and Asia, including millions donated by those “mean Christians”? Or inspired freedom through the new world through its constitution and Bill of Rights? Or saved the secured the rights of minorities through a war? Or saved the world twice from world wars? Give back those rights that you use to speak against America. Why would you benefit from such an “evil” country?

RANT FOR AMERICANS. How long do we put up with this insanity. President Obama wants billions before he even tries to solve or address the illegal problem. Look out, all you poor working people; here he comes. Before long it will be pointless to work.

WE’VE RECOVERED ALL of the jobs lost during the Bush recession.

HOW CAN THIS Sharon Broady be a director of an animal shelter? It is obvious she doesn’t like animals very much. It isn’t costing her a dime for the rescue groups to come from out of state to try to help out, so give the poor animals a break. Is it time for a new director? I think so!

THE CITY OF AUGUSTA government should not feel bad about its incompetence. The same scenario is playing out at the federal level.

ranter #3

Unfortunately, our young folks are getting a big dose of socialism in school. Listening to Obum trash and blame our country for everything that's gone wrong in the world they are growing up with the very idea that America is the big bad guy.

Ranter #1, I feel your pain.

Ranter #1, I feel your pain. I believe all Americans are getting tired of paying for women to have children, without benefit of marriage, and all the other entitlements that go with it.

When mothers come to the "big government money pit in the sky" to apply for our taxpayers dollars, they should be required to name the father or else be refused some or all benefits or lose their children. They know who the father is, and he is probably actually living with the woman. By saying they do not know, they can collect our dollars.

Then the authorities should force the father to pay full child support or at least what he can afford, which would then be deducted from the benefits, or he should face jail time.

Oh, oh. I can hear Corgi now

Oh, oh. I can hear Corgi now - "well, if they lose their children, we will still have to pay for them"

True, but it will have a positive impact in that it will deter those women from having more children if they are not going to receive any taxpayer money. And it may discourage any other women who only have these children to profit from them.

Also, it may be a plus for the children to be taken from a home that does not have education and work ethics to pass on to their children. Which would be evidenced by the fact that their parent(s) are deceivers and moochers!

reagan didn't fix the border mess, neither did bush41,clinton, or bush43(try reading about the north american union sometime)you might then hush about what obama hasn't done.obama could probably fix many situations if he didn't have to chaperone the entire nutty world in which we exist.it must have been nice when W was out riding bikes at 3 in the afternoon while cheney ran the country into the ground.obama doesn't have that luxury.this prez and vp earn their money.i doubt either will spend their retirement painting pictures of men or drumming up more wars so their children can profit by providing industries with security consultations about the dreaded terrorism in the world that their fathers were part of anyway.(liz cheney, rudy guliani, wollfowitz, rummy and the rest).

Jobs and Population Growth

To put the jobs "gained" under Obama in perspective, do you think the population of the country has grown since 2008?

"WE’VE RECOVERED ALL of the jobs lost during the Bush recession."

No we have not. If we had, the Labor Participation Rate would be higher than 62.5% and the REAL unemployment rate would be lower than 12.2%.

Where you are missing the boat is believing the Obama numbers on how many hamburger flipping jobs have been "created", BUT THEY DON'T TELL YOU how many other jobs have been LOST or have moved overseas. Do you see those 320,000 FIRST TIME UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS EVERY WEEK. They MORE than make up for those few jobs Obama and the Democrats claim they have created. And MOST of those jobs they tell you they have "created" are part time or minimum wage jobs.

So don't be bragging on Obama.....he is still a total failure, a DISASTER, in the job creation and economy departments. Him and the Democrats.

rant #1: me, too. on my

rant #1: me, too. on my street there are two baby breeders, no daddy in site. they both live with their mummy and daddy, one has two little paychecks, the other has three little paychecks. once again, the women's liberation movement has failed miserably in this country. being a single mother with no supporting father in the picture should be as undesirable and un-cool as smoking cigarettes, drunk driving, being fat, and saying certain words in public, but you hear no outcry from any of the liberals about the number of bebbies born out of wedlock and to single mama households. it's almost as if young women nowadays find this single motherhood thing a badge of honor. then they pull that old line out of their backside whenever something goes wrong or doesn't go their way: "but i'm a single mother and blahblahblah, pity me, feel sorry for me, give me everything i want cause i'm a single mama." well, if you can't keep your legs closed or obtain birth control in order not to get pregnant, people can only assume you became pregnant on purpose, and if that's what you want, to fulfill those maternal instincts, fine, but YOU support your little brats and don't come asking the taxpayers to pay for your fulfilling of instincts or whatever other nonsense is dwelling in your little brain about being a single parent. the taxpayers aren't here to pay for your insanity.

Paula Deen--Paula Deen--Paula Deen

Paula Deen took ET on an exclusive tour of her new set and filled us in on when her new network will debut.

September 24 is the premiere date for Paula's network, which will be an interactive digital experience that will allow viewers to "engage and access Paula and her Southern home cooking, anytime, anywhere -- on computer, smartphone or tablet."

"As people's time becomes more fragmented and they can't sit down in front of TVs, that time that they choose to get what Paula has to offer is even better," said executive producer Gordon Elliott.

Backed by a reported $100 million private equity investment, Paula turned her former Savannah, Georgia home into a studio.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

She turned a good business into a great network...I love it when the naysayers have to take a back seat....they didn't bring her down but I notice some naysayers are having problems today....the good thing about this is, the whites/blacks in Savannah KNOW how much she has helped them.....sometimes tv talking heads are just blown up windbags. Are ya reading this whoopie??

Retirees coming across border--lol

The Coast Guard intercepted a boatload of people off the Texas coast today.

This placed the Coast Guard in an awkward position, as the boat was not heading to the US, but towards Mexico and Central America.

Another surprise finding was the people were white American retirement age seniors. Their claim was that they were trying to get to Central America or Southern Mexico they wanted to return to the US as illegal immigrants. Then they would be entitled to far more benefits than they were receiving as legitimate American retirees.

It is believed the Coast Guard gave them food, water and fuel and assisted them on their journey.

We are booking on the next boat out. Let me know if you want to join us.
