RANT TO THE RICHMOND County Board of Education, which promotes the teaching of anti-Americanism. My son came home with a lesson from a book from Glenn Hills Middle titled Rediscovering America. The author claims that America is evil, Christianity is oppressive, the Pilgrims were thieves, George Washington was not a hero and America is a stolen land. The teacher informed my daughter that the book was given to him by the social studies director downtown. Is this what we are teaching? As a black father, I want my daughter to know America’s virtues and faults, but not be indoctrinated with some socialist agenda that is based on the rewriting of American history.

PRESIDENT OBAMA IS bringing federal thugs to clear American citizens stopping the illegal alien buses. Sounds like Lexington and Concord all over again. This time “we the people” outnumber the forces of tyranny.

WHY AREN’T THE media digging deeper into the issues at Paine? Why hasn’t anyone mentioned that the VP of administration and fiscal affairs, hired just last August, was abruptly let go this spring and a lesser-experienced replacement quietly brought in to fill the position? Was he learning too much and risked exposing the root cause of the issues that continue to haunt Paine?

LAKEWOOD DRIVE, AKA Break-in and Auto Theft Drive. Thanks to the young thief on Barry Drive.

A RANT TO MY NOT-SO-wonderful neighbors: You like fireworks; then pick up all your litter after your yearly celebrations! I am tired of your fireworks trash cluttering up my yard. Your children are old enough to teach them to clean up their messes.

THE WASHINGTON Redskins are being put upon by the government to change their name, and a recent ranter said he was offended by the name Boston Celtics, for it offends his Scots-Irish ancestry. I am patriotic at times, and am offended by the name the New England Patriots, who have large men knocking down other men. Will the liberal government help me? No.

RANT TO THE Republicans who do not like President Obama’s immigration policy. He does not have one. They refused to pass one and would not even pass one for George Bush in 2007 that would have allowed minors to stay. They need to shut up or put up a bill.

The agenda of Elizabeth Warren Democrat Front Runner

Ms. Warren is said to be the Hillary replacement, because of Hillary's age and accident that resulted in a brain injury, some loss of Eyesight and required 6 months of Physical Therapy for a good but not full recovery.

Yesterday Elizabeth Warren The Liberal Socialist Democrat Front Runner outline her ideas of Socialism and what she supports:

- She wants a stronger Federal rules, tougher enforcement, Salary Caps for management for the commercial world.

- She is a Earth 1st (Tree Hugger) and supports a stronger more intrusive EPA to better control all manner of EPA related issues. She once even supported the concept before any WAR can be declared, it should be looked at from and environmental impact study view.

- She wants Internet Net neutrality, but her answer is United Nations Control, not USA control. We built it We really do own it.

- She wants the federal government to dictate wages as applied to living standards, and supports raising the minimum wage as needed and frequently. It sounds like she would have the Federal Government actually define and regulate a standard of living?

- She believes that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and believes the Federal Government should side with workers on the picket lines. Although most such jobs are held by teenagers NOT Adults. Teens don't need a living wage and adults with a education shouldn't be working minimum wage anyway.

- She believes that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt. I actually agree to some point. But the Socialist and Liberals are the ones responsible for the increases in costs for education by allowing unbridled Student Loans for fields that have little of NO employment and NO logical ability to repay the loan while working. While K-12 is no longer enough in this Hi-Technology world, maybe it is time to consider K-14 education and eliminate the student loans if the person donates and equal number of years plus 2 more as interest for teaching in PUBLIC Schools.

- She believes that Federal Government is entitled dictate living standards for the retires and take control of all pensions. The very Idea of making a persons Retirement & pension part of the Federal budget is scary. Who trusts the Fed's to control, regulate and make disbursements of their $$$$.

- She believes in equal pay for equal work. OK, but we all know some employees work harder than others for promotions and raises. What would be the incentive for harder working employees if they are required to be paid the same?

- She danced around it but she believes in Same Sex Marriages and feels the Federal Government has the right to demand all of America adhere to her Liberal moral code.

- She is on recorded and believes in Open Borders in regards to immigration.

- She believes the Federal Government should enforce Her Socialists Parties standards of Morality (or lack of) over citizens and supports going around the US Supreme Court decisions cases like Hobby Lobby.

The Socialists, who now call themselves "Progressives" support the above ideas and concepts.

Is this what you support?

rant #1: don't blame you a bit for being out of sorts about this. if i were you, i'd get together with all the other parents, gather those stupid books together, and burn 'em right in front of the school and the teacher that handed them out, demand an explanation for their ignorance, demand the firing of said teacher and the 'social studies' director. about a year or so ago, i heard the columbia county schools were 'teaching' about the muslim 'culture', and about fell out. if my kids were still in school, believe me, they would have been pulled out of there pronto. no one dares speak the word 'Jesus' or 'Christianity' in a public school, but it's ok to have a course on the insane muslims? really? and since when is a religion a culture? well, it isn't!!! more pee on the leg, the commies call it rain. yeah, there's a whole bunch of UNCHANGE needed in this country, God knows how long it will take to un-do the horrors of the last six years.
i also find it amazing that the liberals have become so steeped in regulations, laws, monitoring, spying on private citizens, etc. these are the same hippies of yesteryore, who at one time would have screamed bloody murder if the government back then would have tried the shenanigans they are pulling on the american peoples now. what's even more amazing are the number of idiots that are following their lead, believing in their lies, letting them take away their liberties and rights on a daily basis, and they can't even see the forest for the trees. the constitution is a joke now, so pooped on by the liberals, it's sickening. the democrat party was right to pick a name that started with a 'D', for it also gives a clue as to these people's states of mind: dumb, disgusting, depressing, devious, delirious, disregarding, and demented. they all suffer from HUA Syndrome.

Last Rant

The Bush Immigration Bill failed because.....

The bill writers failed to include securing the borders prior to allowing expanded opportunities for about 12 million illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship over those legally applying to entry.

LIKE A PLUMBER TOLD ME LAST WEEK. loosely quoting
I have to stop the flow, before I can start on the repairs.

An our Borders are no different. Amnesty before Border control would just lead to more Illegals and another Amnesty fight in 20 years, IF THE USA IS STILL SPEAKING ENGLISH IN 2034.

In a previous rant, I pointed out that our children are being indoctrinated by socialists/communists in our schools.

This is yet another instance that lends credence to my allegation, Corgimom, and is not an "absurd" notion.

This Common Core is another attempt to continue this indoctrination with a softer approach so it doesn't look so obvious.

Ranter #7

The bill passed by Mr. Bush regarding sanctuary for immigrant children is ONLY for children who are victims of sex trafficking. The libs, as usual, have distorted this interpretation and are using it to allow this invasion.

Until there is a secure border, what the h$%% good is passing anything at all?

This person must be just another loyal follower of the mainstream media with no clue as to what's really going on in this country. When are we going to require civics exams before issuing voting rights?

Amnesty is NOT an immigration

Amnesty is NOT an immigration policy. The term "immigration policy" infers the borders are controlled. Ours ARE NOT. You cannot have an immigration policy until the borders are controlled. What we have now is an uncontrolled invasion of welfare squatters, gang members, and terrorists. Everyone is focused on the misnomer of "children" right now...many of whom are already 16 and 17 year old murderers and drug dealing MS13 members. But during the same SHORT few months time frame these 50,000 "children" have come across our border ANOTHER 300,000 ILLEGAL ADULT ALIENS have also crossed our border.

NO immigration legislation involving amnesty UNTIL our borders are sealed. We don't need a new policy.....we already have laws on the books. Maybe we will get a Senate and a president that will enforce our EXISTING immigration laws pretty soon. Maybe THEY will seal the border and then, and only then, develop a policy to address the ILLEGAL aliens already here.

There is no need to bash the

There is no need to bash the United States with the public school curriculum; which is what some of our schools books are doing. You can tell the truth about our country without indoctrinating children to be ashamed of it. Who is reviewing the books before they are put in the schools, what is their agenda and why? Maybe they should read Rediscovering America's Sacred Ground by Barbara A. McGraw instead!

Columbia, SC is going to build a $35 million minor league stadium using a 2% tax on prepared meals and drinks in the city. They currently don't have a team. Hmmmm, I wonder where the team will be coming from?

Although PolitiFact states

Although PolitiFact states that it is only half true that Obama has deported more illegal immigrants than any other president, there is a reason that the National Council of La Raza leader has dubbed the president the Deporter-in-Chief.

Now the GOP wants the president to break the law that Bush signed, per Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Guess they want to sue him twice.

"...because of Hillary's age

"...because of Hillary's age and accident that resulted in a brain injury, some loss of Eyesight and required 6 months of Physical Therapy for a good but not full recovery."

Ronald Reagan was old, had impaired hearing, and most likely was already experiencing early signs of dementia prior to leaving office and no one on the conservative side thought he was unfit for office.

EVERY candidate's health should be on the table but what this is about is raising doubts about a potential foe in order to make her seem less desirable as a candidate. The same was done to John McCain in 2008. He was my favorite and it was not the health issue that drove me away but his selection of Palin as a running mate.

I hope that this cheap trick fails again.

I still can't figure out why the left hates Palin so much. When I ask them, they usually come up with things that either are not true such as saying that she claimed she could see Russia from her house, or they say she's dumb, which also isn't true......and would certainly have kept them from voting for Biden as well.

Good for you Dad! It's about time parents stand up to the America haters now running our schools. Teach your child the truth about this great country because they'll never hear that in school.
As for the baseball team let Columbia have them. Let their citizens and visitors pay for something that's subsidized in every city that has minor league teams. I once lived in a city much larger than either Augusta, N. Augusta or Columbia and they built a double A team a stadium and it's like a mill stone around that towns neck. By the way my town stole the team away from a smaller city not far away who also built that team a new stadium less than ten years before. Those team owners only care about making money and as soon as the lease is about to expire they move on to greener pastures and the towns are left with an empty stadium to maintain for a few concerts a year.

"I still can't figure out why the left hates Palin so much."

They fear her.

They have observed her charisma and they've witnessed how she runs government when she's in charge. They see where she stands on social issues. They've seen how she stamps out cronyism and corruption. They've watched her give birth to a Down syndrome child and they know where she stands on abortion and respect for human life.

She has it all. They know it. That's why they "hate" her so much and have viciously attacked her from every possible angle.

They're scared out of their sandals that she might run for President and be elected.

"I still can't figure out why the left hates Palin so much."

I am not 'the left' but since I mentioned Palin I can boldly state that I hate no one, not even Palin. But her politics, that's another matter. She is a flame thrower and does so deliberately. As for those who question her intellect, I will let them address that issue since I don't believe that I have done that. Just as those who called Bush dumb and say similar things about Obama must account for their own rhetoric. Suffice it to say I think that it is beyond disrespectful for anyone to refer to an elected official in such terms.

A short time ago Palin was almost gloating over Putin in an effort to...who knows what her motive was. Maybe if Putin had been wearing some "Mom's pants" he would have thought twice about the callous act and being complicit in blowing up a jet with nearly 300 souls, and nearly a third children, on board.

But Putin is her man! He wrestles bears.

This has been done for by the Federal Government for years. It is called "determination of poverty level" and "minimum wage laws".

Why anybody would think that this hasn't been done before is odd.

Where do you think the guidelines for food stamps, Medicaid, housing assistance, and Pell grants, comes from?
