Rants & Raves

Comments from readers:

SHAME ON PAINE College officials for jeopardizing their school! I bet Gilbert and others are rolling in their graves over this. May we please ask the great GRU Hull College of Business to take over the accounting management of the place? Perhaps have their seniors intern there and turn things around? Think of what a fine addition to their résumé that would be!

PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS complaining about others using handicapped parking. Lots of people who can walk inside stores without assistance and who look perfectly healthy, are not. Others medical problems, such as heart disease, kidney trouble, on dialysis, a multitude of things could be wrong with them. “Don’t judge a book by its cover!”

WHY NOT DANCING Without Stars?

PEOPLE WHO DO not understand terrorist-for-traitor deals need to realize that is how politicians and businessmen transfer hundreds of millions of government dollars into Swiss bank accounts under the guise of “national security.”

SHAME ON MANIGAULT for leaving her newborn hidden in the car. A big rave to the person who heard the cries and crawled through the roof to get to the baby.

I AM OFFENDED by the name Boston Celtics. As descendant of the Scots and the Irish, I find my ancestry being associated with large men running up an down a basketball court offensive. Can we get the trademarked name Celtic taken away from them?

JOHN MCCAIN, LINDSEY Graham and Karl Rove want to send our military back into Iraq. We should never have been there in the first place. Now, Obama is sending “advisers.” If we could not win with hundreds of thousands of combat troops, what can this accomplish except to get more Americans killed?

RANT TO OUR military. You don’t need any men on the ground in Iraq. We have drones. Just bomb all our military equipment in the areas overtaken by ISIS.

THE ONLY THING MORE disgraceful than what Obama is doing to this country is the working-class Americans sitting on their hands letting him do it.

RANT TO THE PEOPLE who think Lindsey Graham and Eric Cantor are “too liberal.” The problem isn’t them – it’s you. You’ve gone so far conservative that you’re leaving everybody behind – even if you don’t count the die-hard liberals.

Democrats need women to vote,
Unpublished

Democrats need women to vote, Hobby Lobby will deliver.

The polling among women already looks brutal for GOP. After 2012, the GOP's short - term "rebranding" effort included women, but that was then, this is now. And nothing says. "Oh well, the hell with the ladies" more than vociferously cheering the decision handed down by the Supreme Court for Hobby Lobby.

I can't image a better GOP weapon than this: The reality is much different, and it will be delicious watching President Hillary Clinton swing the Court back in our direction during her eight - year term. Then, we win the war against women.

Lindsey Graham is a Closet Democrat

Lindsey Graham is just in the wrong party. He wouldn’t be too liberal in the Democratic Party. He would fit right in with them, even the die-hard liberals.

Disagree RM

Graham is a moderate. Go to Project Vote Smart and look up his ratings with interest groups and his votes. He is more of a statesman, seeking middle ground compromise, than most. We need more like him and fewer like Reid if we are to see any bipartisanship and agreeable progress on issues. As long as it is "my way or the highway" on both sides, nothing gets done. Sometimes we are the better for it when there is gridlock, but too often nothing gets done on big issues like illegal immigration. Middle ground is better than no ground in that case.

Ranter #8

You got it right! Our smooth operator of a prez had to play golf and campaign while these terrorists moved everything across open desert in full view and could have easily been stopped in their tracks.

BTW, I made a comment yesterday that O is discouraging enlistment/re-enlistment by cutting benefits to our servicemen and was told he couldn't do that, only the legislative branch could determine fund allocation. These cuts, I believe, are still because of the sequester deal and that sequester was O's plan. The Republicans foolishly believed he would never screw over our military and agreed to it.
Wasn't it O himself who closed the whitehouse tours and closed our national parks? He has taken liberties with the legislative branch's responsibilities by designating where funds will be and won't be spent.

Why does Arizona keep voting

Why does Arizona keep voting Mr. McCain in every election? He is a fine person, did our country proud with his military service but he is not a conservative in many ways.
Mr. Rove is a smart man, but his ideas are a little extreme.
Graham can't decide which side he's on.

like illegal immigration

How can we fix it---please tell me..

Any & every time we announce we are trying to allow some to gain citizenship we are bombarded by an influx---just like now.

Sad, & we can't continue to take on all the problems of this world...the borders will have to have 24/7 guards....nothing else will work.

Some think we are cruel for not accepting children...nooo, we are realists......kids come with parents--grandparents--cousins--aunts-uncles-friends-on & on, We will have the same problems they are running from if we don't get a grip on this. imho

Does an "R" really mean Republican?

Instead of smooth talking, cutsey, or whimsical ads, every candidate's voting record should be displayed when he/she runs for an office. That would put to rest any false claims the opposition makes about the candidate's record. Also, VERIFIABLE information that would discount negative assaults on his/her character and stop a lot of the phony accusations and negativity that we are besieged with every election cycle. It may change who should be trusted to be in charge - instead of the smooth talking, well dressed, articulate but sleazy politicians running our country right now.

Immigration problem

We don't have an immigration problem, we have an "unenforced immigration laws" problem. If the laws were enforced, we would have none of this going on. I see the children on TV and feel so very sorry for them, but we cannot and should not allow them to stay. Seenit is correct, if we allow them to stay, Mr. O will say it's only right to let their parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles come here to reunite with their children.
I think Mr. O is realizing (especially with the protesters in California) that he may have made a mistake. But, as usual, he has to sit on his hands, spin around a few times and then blame the Republicans before he can think of any way to alleviate the situation. I seriously doubt he'll do much to stop it all together.

Rant 6 - The Red Skins Poticially Correct Name protest

has open a bigger door to these Over sensitive Touchy Feeling types.

Here is a short list names and who they or their mascot offend:

Atlanta BRAVES - American Indians
Chicago White Sox - Racial innuendo
Milwaukee Brewers - MADD
Pittsburgh Pirates - DOJ
New Jersey Devils - Anti-Christian
Edmonton Oilers - EPA & Environmental groups
Vancouver Canucks - Racial and derogatory name
Anaheim Ducks - Gay innuendo and slur
New York Knick - Racial slur with its origin back to the Dutch settlers

Milwaukee Bucks - Animal and Bucks was another name for a breed male slave so its a racial slur also

How about Panthers - Racial Anti-white group

Other Teams named after Animals - Animal Rights activists will want $$$$ to care feed the particular animal as payment.

An let us not get started of how many Socialist, Liberals and Communists are offended by the Stadiums named after Capitalist enterprises.

My point is simple It time the MAJORITY in American take back control from these whining idiots.

It is time to quit pandering to every person hyper-sensitivity or person that creates an issue, just for a protest, a news bite and donations.

Now Its time to grab breakfast

some Ho-cakes, country sausage, cane syrup.

We decide to try out the Nationally known RACISTS (humor)
recipe for Hoecakes by Paula Deen this morning.

It differs a little from gran-ma's.
She used (we have used) plain milk and Crisco, not buttermilk and cooking oil.

Will let y'all know later and after I get back from fishing.

Good Morning "Vanishing" America.

Your are correct B4, "We will have the same problems they are running from if we don't get a grip on this."

It won't be long before Americans will be sneaking into Canada for the same reason those coming into the US are. Bad and Corrupt Government.

I can guarantee you one thing, Canada will secure their borders a hell of a lot better than we are and the ones that make it sure will not be getting nothing FREE!

Fishing heh

The old adage about giving a man a fish versus teaching him how to fish has been updated by a reader: Give a man a fish and he will ask for tartar sauce and French fries! Moreover, some politician who wants his vote will declare all these things to be among his 'basic rights.'

Sad But The Only Way.

As long as we are ruled under King SMNCICBHO(M), the hammer & sickle man, securing our borders will always be in Never Never Land.

Posted a few days back.

SECURING THE BORDER. (SIMPLE)
(Some Liberal who loves the way America is going) "To wall of literally thousands of miles from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. And then it has to be maintained. And patrolled."

"Tunnels will be dug".

"What would stop somebody from getting into a boat in Mexico, heading north, and then landing in California? Or doing the same in the Gulf of Mexico"?

(My no heart radical feeling.)

No Wall, just one single wire10 feet off the ground, highly noting the border for the thousands of miles from sea to shining sea.
Make the whole distance a Sniper training area for our military who are already being paid. When qualified, let them spend some easy time at the end of each tunnel. No cost for patrolling or maintaining.
The only cost (at least for the first few months) would be the cost of ammo. As for the boat attempts, give our Coast Guards the pleasure of earning a medal for their service.

I guess there would be a little cost for the throwing equipment needed to throw back the remains back over the single wire.

Securing the border problem SOLVED!

Illegal immigration

The way you DON'T fix it is to dig in and refuse to compromise. Politics is about give and take; and as long as the two sides are entrenched, nothing gets done and they continue pouring over the border by the millions.

That doesn't mean that one side give the other all they want, I'm just saying we have a problem with both sides of the aisle. We need more statesmen.

If you think you are insured, don't be so sure...

"As you're probably aware, almost 3 million ObamaCare "enrollees" were found to have "inconsistencies" in their applications. That's a sanitized way of saying 3 million people might not actually have qualified for the insurance they thought they'd purchased. So, of course, the feds spent the last nine months running around trying to reconcile the "inconsistencies" so they could be sure everyone was properly enrolled in the glorious new world of the ACA.

Except, they can't. In fact, according to the New York Post, 85% of the 2.9 million errors can't be fixed."

Thanks for the tip on Henderson's. The better half and I headed out early to a Braves game and stopped there for early dinner. We had the shrimp, which were very good; and noted other menu items that looked tasty as well. You should go into Jackson for Fresh Air Barbeque. Best in Georgia IMO.

Man Arrested for Videoing RCSO Cars

Did y'all see the video in the ACES Wild editorial where the man videoing police cars in Richmond County going through a stop sign was accosted by police? It's a great editorial against such illegal tactics by police, but this should be a news story.

Illegals--IAD

I think most on the Rep side have said...Secure the borders first & we will talk about citizenship.......Can we do this? It seems one side wants to & the other side doesn't.

We have a lot to offer but there is always a limit ...we can't say open borders & have at it.

I will say that lately I'm more ticked than ever about this situation. Imagine the penalties we would face just trying to enter other countries....the whites are NOT producing because we have to PAY for all others that are OVER producing & can't pay for the births.

All good things have a price tag.

More bad news for Obama and the ACA

"A devastating new Health and Human Services (HHS) Inspector General report released on Tuesday reveals that the Obama administration has yet to determine whether 1,295,571 of the over 8 million Obamacare enrollees are U.S. citizens lawfully in the country. "
