MASS INVASION OF illegals crossing the border: President Obama is busing them throughout the country. Republican leadership is all for it. Taxpayers are stuck with the bill. Who is looking out for what’s left of the working American citizen?

WHY DOESN’T OBAMA see whether the Mexicans want some Taliban fighters in trade for Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi? He could always send more guns to the drug dealers in exchange for their busting him out of jail.

THIS IS DIRECTED TO another one of your ill-informed readers. It was Ronald Reagan who was responsible for reducing and releasing the mentally ill from institutions. Reagan and the Republicans discarded Carter’s Mental Health Systems Act after the 1980 election.

A RANT FOR THE STATE Department of Education for spending more than $107 million on the new Georgia Milestones test based on the Common Core Standards. Can’t these people making these decisions see that Common Core and the Teacher Keys Effectiveness System are money-making schemes for companies like CTB/McGraw Hill? Once again the state will need training booklets, pretest booklets and of course “professional learning” to prepare, which costs so much money. Plus, teachers will continue to be data collectors instead of actual teachers. Common Core and TKES continue to hurt the education system of Georgia. Maybe at least the local school board could lead the way and actually let the teachers do their jobs and really teach.

SO WE HAVE RACISTS counting up the number and skin color of our higher-ups in Richmond County, eh? That person or people need to open their eyes and visit the Laney Museum of History and Cedar Grove Cemetery for starters.

DRIVING IN AUGUSTA, I spotted a vehicle with a disabled veteran tag, Army sticker and sergeant major chevrons sticker. Very commendable! Then, I spotted the Obama sticker. Why any career veteran would support this anti-military, anti-American values, Taliban-releasing hack is beyond all comprehension.

THE BEST THING FOR blacks would be for a sizeable percentage to vote for Republicans. Democrats have no reason to help them because they know they will always get 95 percent of their vote. Republicans have no reason to help them because they know they will never get more than 5 percent of their vote.

The Southern Republican

The Southern Republican defies GOP in coming out for the Medicaud Expansion to Obamacare.

Many have been saying this would happen. As reality meets rhetoric, reality ultimately wins. Sometime one must bring reality into the fold kicking and screaming. A few months ago I read the article " When does lying about Obamacare become immoral and evil?"

The simple answer is now. Waiting until people dies makes it effectively murder. Republicans are starting to feel the pain of their intransigence and spite. A few months ago a self - described Republican Fox News addict from North Carolina urged Americans to sign up for Obamacare.

In Belhaven, North Carolina Republican Mayor Adam O'Neal flanked by Moral Monday's leader Rev. Williams Barbet urged his fellow Republicans to take the Medicaid Expansion to Obamacare. " I am a Republican. I am standing amongst a bunch of Democrats, " Mayor O'Neal said. "No party is right all of the time. We all make mistakes." Mayor O'Neal sums it up well. " I hope Republican governors reconsider and decide to focus on federal reform too meet our concerns and don't let our rural hospitals suffer and our poor suffer," Mayor O'Neal said. " Don't let our hospital close. Rural citizens dying shouldn't be soldiers of our legislature's defiance." Well said.

"The Southern Republican

"The Southern Republican defies GOP in coming out for the Medicaud Expansion to Obamacare."

Don't get confused. This is one local yokel politician trying to save a rural hospital that was going broke anyway and he thinks a bunch of freebee Medicaid patients might save it. This is nothing to get excited about.

The Republican governors did the right thing for the state taxPAYERS. When the federal money runs out, or gets cut....and that WILL happen....the STATE taxpayers will be 100% on the hook for Medicaid expansion. Free stuff is like drugs.....JUST SAY NO.

President Obama signaled on

President Obama signaled on Friday that in the days ahead, he will decide whether or not to take military action I Iraq in response to growing sectarian violence. Should the order come, U.S. warships now in the Persian Gulf and ready to launch air strikes against Iraq. To be clear, President Obama was right to end the Iraq war in 2011. Now he's under pressure from lawmakers like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, as well as discredited Bush advisers who are eager to drag American back into the disastrous conflict. The warnings are grim. If the U.S. takes military action in response to the crisis in Iraq, it would be pouring more fuel on a raging fire and doubling down on the Bush Administration's colossal failures.

Republican Party is in "Chaos"

The Republicans have dropped to their weakest point since their disastrous government shutdown.

The election to replace Eric Cantor as GOP House Leader is THIS THURSDAY , and Republican infighting has hit an all- time high. NO Republican leader is safe in this moment of weakness.

Reagan Had Much To Do

Shoot, Reagan had to reverse so many Carter programs, I wouldn't be surprised if one or two were debatable. It's going to be the same way when Republicans take back this country in the next TWO elections. You are going to see the Tea Party, meaning constitutional respecting Americans, turning out as never before. Our flirting with socialism is over.

Republican Infighting VS Democratic Infighting

Understand Republican infighting means determining which candidates are closer to being constitutionalists and balancing the budget, while Democratic infighting with supporters of Hillary and Elizabeth Warren means who can best lead the county into socialism.

Riverman- going back the last few years of surpluses-

1969 Nixon

1998, 1999, 2000 Clinton

2001 Bush

Most of the time, Riverman, the country is in a deficit, it rarely is balanced or a surplus.

Corgi...since you failed to answer yesterday, even after I answered YOUR question (and don't worry, asking doesn't violate policy, just as asking personal questions doesn't), I'll give you another chance to answer.

"Pond Life, I have been part of the military for most of my life.

And from the things you have said, you have not."

What things, specifically have I said?

KSL's knowledge of disability laws are no more lacking than your lack of knowledge of the military. How one can compare a platoon of soldiers to gossipy high school children is quite laughable.

The Cantor deal

The Reps are going through a house cleaning & dumping a few (nose in the air types)....those who thumped their noses at the voters will be bounced.....big steak dinners to certain folks won't keep them in office.

It has to be done & some of it will be painful to watch...Ga will have a taste of it too......money won't get ya there. We just saw some big money folks fall by the wayside when running for Senate.

This is a lot about complete dissatisfaction with programs by the Obama guys & not just tea party people.....we want to see more backbone & guts from the Rep side. imho

Exit 93...noc

I know that exit very well....that is our getting off exit coming back from the csra.....we travel the back roads through the counties...mostly farm land & small towns with beautiful old homes.

Madison exit is another interesting spot to travel through.....same with the homes & land.

I'm guessing your house is near Covington?? I will try that restaurant one day...it does sound like a great country type place.

Baby left in hot truck-please read

http://www.ajc.com/news/news/national/child-found-dead-hot-car-rockledge...

There should be some kind of strap--rattle-noise that reminds a driver of a baby sitting in backseat...anything that would make them look in the back B4 leaving their car/truck....I wish they would start placing babies on the front seat again...at least this wouldn't happen.

My kids sat on the front with me & there was no way I could forget them.

On a simple note Tax Collections area up

$6,449.73 PER US CITIZEN (300M+/- people)

$10,347.16 per US REGISTERED VOTER

While according to CNN, The USA has 37 million illegal immigrants which is about 12+% of the population NOT PAYING FEDERAL INCOME TAXES.

REGARDING THE ILLEGAL CHILDREN OBAMA HELPED INTO THE COUNTRY. Finger Print them, Document their names, DOB, POB and parent names, if they have any.

If they are orphans, immediately adopt them out to Middle class conservative WORKING families. If they have parents, take steps to charge the parents with felony abandonment and adopt out their kids or have them pick the kids up at the border for the cost of babysitting them. Keep the parents names and the child names on the BAN list for 10 years.

back roads via Madison

Checkout Sandy Creek Road that runs from outside Madison from
US 441/129 to Monroe. About 5 miles out of Monroe, there is a Farm that has a REAL Buffalo, not the cross bred versions we see so much more to day.

Watch out for the Deer.
