A tattered Georgia state flag would be replaced if 'tattered enough' according to officials.

WHAT: The Georgia state flag is tattered. Before Friday, Augusta’s city flag was missing from the 3-flag pole.

WHO’S RESPONSIBLE: Flags in the city are maintained by the Richmond County Parks and Recreation.

ACTION PROMISED: Darrell Bennett, the Parks and Recreation operations supervisor, sent employees to hang a new Augusta flag late last week. Bennett said his employees would look at the Georgia flag and “evaluate if it was tattered enough to be replaced.” As of Friday night, the Georgia flag had not been replaced.

This guy wanted workers to see if it was tattered enough to warrant replacing it. He should be replaced for thinking like that.

They said they would observe the flag and decide whether it is tattered enough to warrant replacement. You've got to give a little leeway here.
