What a difference a week makes.

On Feb. 13, Augusta was blanketed in ice and snow. On Thursday, it basked in 82-degree sunshine.

The high temperature tied the record for Feb. 20, set in 1991, according to the National Weather Service.

It was even hotter in Columbia, where temperatures reached 84 degrees, breaking the previous record for Feb. 20 of 83 degrees.
