A RANT IS IN ORDER for a host on ‘The Five’ Show Jan. 27 who was scolding Sheriff Joe Arpaio for putting several inmates on bread and water for desecrating the American Flag by burning and stomping on it. The host thought it was ridiculous and he shouldn’t do that. The host was yelling and screaming about it. Well, host, our president man is doing the same thing to all Americans, yet you praise and dream about him for the way he is doing the Americans. He is raising the prices on everything so that they can’t even buy bread and water or even his oh-so-famous Affordable Care Act. What Sheriff Joe Arpaio showed me is that he believes in America and our Red-White-Blue Stripes & Stars. I think they got a good lesson and to me all of those that desecrate our flag needs an education on what America means to Americans.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, if you are thinking of letting GRU build your hospital, remember they do not keep their word. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

DOES ANYONE KNOW what they are building near the Candlewood Crossing Subdivision off Old Evans Road? Hopefully it is not low-income housing or apartments. That’s what it looks like.

WASHINGTON D.C. needs to get off its duff and pass the Farm Bill.

ONCE A BADGE HAS been tarnished, there is no way to shine it again.

BRAD USRY, I can’t believe you would side up with Azziz. The people of Augusta have supported you and your eating establishment.

IF YOU LOVE AUGUSTA and want Augusta to prosper, vote against Gov. Deal; he is not interested in Augusta. If we get a new governor, maybe he will run Azziz out of town.

I SEE OBAMA IS threatening to use executive orders to bypass Congress and get what he wants. I think it is time for impeachment.

This should scare us all!

"involving widespread police misconduct, primarily related to planted drug and gun evidence."

http://tinyurl.com/Wrongful-Convictions

Credit to the good guys: "The new report shows that nearly 40 percent of exonerations recorded in 2013 were either initiated by law enforcement or included police and prosecutors' cooperation."

Kudos to them, but this just shows how easily it is for unethical LE to railroad someone; understanding of course that some of these were probably guilty, just not properly prosecuted with evidence.

It is small wonder so many mistrust LE in general, and why I constantly beat the drum to A) get rid of the bad apples, and B) Police in a manner to get real bad guys, not low hanging fruit.

Here's the deal that will show Georgia's governor the exit.

Georgia's governor rejecting free money from the federal government. The Affordable Care Act expands Medicaid to millions of low- income Americans, but 25- red states- including Georgia - have rejected it, because Republicans hate Obamacare. In other words, states are rejecting free money from the Feds - purely out of political spite and Republican governors who are up for reelection in November will pay the ultimate price.

Many on the right don't believe feces stink.

Much as conservatives repeatedly posted myth on the Chronicle's opinion page repeatedly tell us that local and state programs are always better than Feds, there isn't much evidence to bolster the claim. Republican- who has been so wrong about their economic predictions since Obama became president that they argues that the government is just making numbers. GOP favor ability ratings are at all- time lows.

MSNBC doesn't have the correct information. They just parrot Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.. You need some facts. You may just want to look at Obama's favorability ratings. They are the lowest for any sitting president in history. Free Money for the states for Medicaid?? Yes, Obama will give them back their own money for 2 years then the states have to pay all the bill. Where will that money come from in two years?? You apparently don't contribute as a taxpayer or you would know that answer!! Obamacare is the answer?? According to the Congressional Budget Office millions more will lose insurance than Obamacare will cover, also more than 2.3 million taxpayers will lose their jobs because of Obamacare regulations. Those jobs will never be filled!! Who is going to pay those taxes? As you were advised above, remove the upper portion of your anatomy from the lower portion and you may begin to see the light!!

And do you have some kind of evidence that bolster's your claim, because from everything I've read, it appears you do not have the facts correct.

Ramble #1, Gov. Deal

Rambler #1 confuses me. If I read him literally, he seems to be stating the president is putting Americans on bread and water for desecrating their flag. Rambler should avoid news channels involving shouting heads.

Ramble replier Babyboy, Deal will not pay any significant political price for rejecting Medicaid expansion. This is a red state.

Gov. Deal is following WWJD. WWJD? If Jesus were a politician, he would put a flag pin on his lapel, his state would have "In God We Trust" on its flag, and when the poor had no insurance, he would say "Depart from Me, ye moochers! Let your condition progress to the point of going to the Emergency room!"

You are a color on a map for housing

http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2014/2/5/fighting-segregationinhou...

A map for this...who knew..

jobs, safe neighborhoods, good schools

Try to read this article.....very interesting for sure..The problem is this;--the schools-safe neighborhoods won't be safe forever when the crime moves in....our gov thinks a house in a certain area will make a person gain the goodies in life...some might, but studies have shown that crime moves with the section 8...

The change has to come within...we all have the desire to prosper, but we can't GIVE another a good life....somewhere along the line one has to EARN it.

Expanding Medicaid is not the way to go. Though I am not a big fan of Nathan Deal, I do support his stance on Medicaid. We do not need to make more people eligible; instead we need to shrink the number of people eligible. Likewise, we need to shrink the number of people eligible for food stamps.

Here is a Damn if you do, Damn if you don't example.

Part A - DAMNED BECAUSE THEY DON'T
The N2ACP is constantly telling the world, that the Black American population are all but ignored by The Republican Party, which is only
a Myth the Democrat party wishes to perpetuate.

Part B - DAMMED IF THEY DO
While Republicans continue make greater efforts to seek out, inform, invite and have successes recruiting Conservative Black American candidates, despite the narrow mindedness of some Liberals and Democrats.

But, does the N2ACP acknowledge the effort, the success and the fact that Black Americans now have more voice in the political process? A voice on BOTH sides of the Isle?

NO!

Conservative Black Americans are called Mouth Pieces, Uncle Toms, Whitey's N*****, stupid puppets with a master and other names.

It seems to the N2ACP, the only Good Black Americans are the ones that toe their political line. Step out of their area of control and if you are a Black American wanting to do better for yourself, You are dumb, and _____________.

BTW:
The reason for this particular comment is the Race Baiting, Racially Dividing N2ACP Director Reverend William Barber, the director of the North Carolina N2ACP, who whines that Republicans fail to reach out to minorities, then without blinking an eye, calls those that support conservative causes “mouthpieces.”

It is people like this that work hard to divide and stir up tension. Doing so allows them to keep their Power and $$$$. These type of people don't want any minority to think other than their way. They want Black America to be a subservient to the Democrats which is where their power and $$$$ lay.

Too many like him hide behind the Title

EBT may not be used for Hair Weaves, Nail Salon Appointments to maintain 3 inch nails or to purchase Escalades. Yes some people need EBT due to poverty level salaries, but they need to live within those means also. An I Phone not, Regular hair and nail appointments (weekly) are not, dry cleaned clothing is not, purchasing large amounts of junk food is not, purchasing lottery tickets and alcohol is not, having a live in babydaddy leaching off your childrens benefits is not, so when and where do we report this that someone will actually do something? "rejecting free money from

"rejecting free money from the Feds"

Spoken like a true, no understanding of economics, Communist Democrat. FREE money. Money that just appears out of mid-air.

Gov. Deal did the right thing in rejecting Medicaid expansion. The cost of the new people will be passed on to the state taxpayers in the future. Plus, their are "federal strings" attached concerning things that must be covered that would also increase the cost to state taxpayers TODAY for the folks we already have on Medicaid. When you take the federal money you have to swallow all the crap that comes with it. Deal did the right thing.

Obamacare to cause job LOSS.

It's OFFICIAL. The Congressional Budget Office just released their latest report that Obamacare will cause job losses and full time jobs to be converted to part time. The Republicans have been telling us that for the last 5 years. Welcome to reality CBO and liberal Democrats.

The Democrats defend this by saying this will allow folks to be "dynamic". That, if you are working in a job that you don't like you can quit and still have insurance....FREE.....you can be DYNAMIC. That is their new word...DYNAMIC. So if you quit you job and go on the government teat your are "DYNAMIC". This "dynamic" country is going down the tubes.

So just remember folks....THE REPUBLICANS WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG.

Lost jobs.....full time jobs being made part time jobs.....premiums up between 50% and 300%.......copays and deductibles up 100%......people losing their insurance, their doctors, their hospitals......young people not signing up......which means we will soon be BAILING OUT THE INSURANCE COMPANIES.

Just remember in November when you go to the polls.....the Republicans were 100% right about Obamacare. It is a DISASTER for everyone.....ESPECIALLY the MIDDLE CLASS working family.

And when the insurance companies see where they are financially this year....THE RATES WILL TAKE A TREMENDOUS JUMP NEXT YEAR. Hold on to your butts folks....you ain't seen nothing yet.
