A Mike Padgett Highway road closure has been rescheduled due to weather.

The railroad crossing on Mike Padgett Highway near the Burke County line was scheduled to be closed to traffic Tuesday through Wednesday while crews repair the tracks where a train derailed last year. The closure has been rescheduled for Feb. 3-4.

A detour sign will lead traffic down Hephzibah-McBean Road and Highway 25.
