An Augusta mother with a sick child could use your help this year.
“I have a 3-year-old girl who cannot talk and has been diagnosed as autistic,” she writes.
“I am out of work and my husband walked out two weeks ago. We are staying with my cousin but the income is limited and I don’t want my little girl to be without Christmas.
The Augusta Chronicle Empty Stocking Fund has helped people such as this for 83 years. Last year, the charity raised more than $93,000 that helped children and families across the region.
Donations are tax-deductible.
