Body found in fitness center near Atlanta

JONESBORO, Ga. — Police are trying to figure out what happened to a man whose body was found in a closed fitness center south of Atlanta.

The body was found shortly after noon on Wednesday at the now-defunct Hoops and Fitness athletic center on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that authorities believe the man was in his mid-30s to mid-40s. He hasn’t been identified.
