The following closings have been announced for the Veterans Day holiday:

AIKEN COUNTY

• Aiken city offices, county offices, county landfill and drop-off centers, county schools, city garbage/recycling, North Augusta city offices and North Augusta city garbage open, running regular schedule Monday

BURKE COUNTY

• County landfill, county offices, county schools, Waynesboro city offices open Monday

COLUMBIA COUNTY

• County schools, tax commissioner’s office open Monday

• County offices, tax assessor’s office closed Monday

EDGEFIELD COUNTY

• Tri-County Transfer Station open Monday

• Edgefield city offices, county offices, county schools closed Monday

MCDUFFIE COUNTY

• County schools open Monday

• County landfill, offices, Thomson city offices closed Monday

RICHMOND COUNTY

• Augusta Public Transit, Richmond Transit, ADA Paratransit closed, no service Monday

• Augusta-Richmond County offices, landfill open Monday

• No change in residential garbage service

• County schools, tax commissioner’s office closed Monday

• County tag offices closed Saturday and Monday

COLLEGES

• Aiken Technical College, Augusta Technical College, Georgia Health Sciences University, Paine College, University of South Carolina Aiken open Monday

• Georgia Military College closed Monday

OTHER

• Aiken-Bamberg-Barnwell-Edgefield Regional Library System, all branches closed Monday

• East Central Georgia Regional Library System closed Sunday and Monday

• Federal offices closed Monday

• Financial institutions closed Monday

• Fort Gordon offices closed Monday

• Georgia state offices closed Monday

• South Carolina state offices closed Monday

• U.S. Postal Service offices closed Monday
