THE MONTANA man got 30 days for raping a 14 year old, who later committed suicide. Scott Dean got 20 years for allegedly touching his stepdaughter, who later recanted her story. Let Scott come home.

I ALWAYS FIND it amusing the way Lowell Greenbaum takes jabs at the Republicans and the Tea Party. This time Greenbaum criticized Sen. Ted Cruz and referred to him as the “new McCarthy.” Greenbaum also warned us that Cruz uses scare tactics to bully and we should be aware of his policies. How hypocritical for Greenbaum to make such accusations against Cruz when Greenbaum’s hero Obama is a prime example of an arrogant, greedy and corrupt bully. When it comes to policies, Obama’s are downright frightening plus damaging to America. Once again Lowell Greenbaum sticks his foot in his mouth.

TRACY E. WILLIAMS certainly lauded a lot of praise on the Affordable Care Act/ObamaCare and made sure that he put the emphasis on all the so-called beneficial pros. Seems Mr. Williams omitted some very negative cons. A few examples: $1.1 trillion cost of ObamaCare. All the new taxes, rules, regulations, mandates, penalties. Damage to businesses. Many doctors closing their practices, no longer taking new patients or accepting Medicare. Premiums and deductibles higher. In addition the ACA/ObamaCare consists of thousands of pages that are very complex and difficult to comprehend. Personally I’d be leary of the “fine print” and “what’s between the lines.” Since Lowell Greenbaum is a Ph.D., maybe he could explain in detail the thousands of pages this health care bill contains.

AFTER READING the article about the possible new regulations for tattoos for Army personnel, I am appalled that Sgt. Robertson would make such an immature statement. He is a member of the United States Armed Forces and a NCO, which means he is supposed to a leader. I am a retired NCO who served in Vietnam during the draft era, my first sergeant in Vietnam would have taken him in his office and had a “wall to wall” counseling session with the young Sergeant. If he doesn’t like the regulations, he should get out, and become a civilian. We always knew we were under Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and as a result we were to follow orders. I took pride in being an Army NCO and not a civilian.

Time Served

I, too, think it is time for Scott Dean to be released at time served. No parole, no probation. It all was a series of unfortunate mistakes. But there was no crime.

I'm sure a lot of NCO's will get tattoo's, they just aren't dumb enough to give an interview saying so.

WE HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT

DRUDGE REPORT Headline

" 'COMPROMISE' WOULD FUND OBAMACARE, LIFT DEBT CEILING, REOPEN GOVERNMENT AND REVERSE SEQUESTER CUTS... Paul Ryan Back In Charge"

Their unnecessary surrender comes at a time when the GOP is in a stronger position than it was during the partial government shutdown in 1995/96 ??

Quoting
"The revised GOP plan reflects the demands Obama made in a meeting with House GOP Leaders on Thursday."

I don't recognize these people any more.
This is NOT the GOP I Voted for.

TEA PARTY you will have my 2014 donations.
I agree with many, but maybe for different reasons,
2014 is a time for some major changes in Washington DC .

Medicare/Health care

I have found many Drs are very choosey in accepting patients in todays world....we could ourselves paying for an option we can't use anymore...

This may turn out to be the worst nightmare an older person will have to face.

My feelings about defunding

We are on a fool's ride to nowhere...if we want BIG changes in that & the budget...
WE WILL HAVE TO PUT REP IN SENATE_& W HOUSE...& at the rate we are going with our decisions lately...I don't see an opening any time soon...

Yall can blast me if you want to...but we have to stop giving time & attention to issues we can't change & can't control.

RAVE for the local Eastman Gun Show

We arrived around 9:45am

No big line wait, we walked right in

Renewed our NRA membership after reminding the NRA GA-rep next time Pro-gun Conservatives control all 3 branches NOT TO SIT ON THEIR HANDS, but to strengthen ownership rights while they have the power. Because the liberals sure do go after the gun owners when they have the power.

We Walked the Show and found:
GA Arms selling ammo at reasonable, near PRE-OBAMA, prices
500 rds of 38 Special @ $130.00 in a New army Ammo can.
500 rds of 223/5.56mm @ $180.00

Ammo was in plentiful supply and at PRE-OBAMA, prices.
Reloading supplies were plentiful and at PRE-OBAMA prices
Firearms ranged from New 50 y/o Russian rifles to 50 cals
1000's of Home Defense Tools, (shotguns, rifles, pistols & AR's)
Plenty of parts, clips, scopes, cases and magazines.

Absent were the Raunchy bumper sticker, novelty tags, bumper hangers, jewelry and @$%$#^% worded t-shirts.

Once again Eastman has put on a family show.
No Hollywood Actors, Celebrities or gimmicks.

What we saw was

A few RCSO Deputies purchasing personal ammo, extra clips, and etc...

A few neat cut young boys with their fathers picking out their 1st 22cal rifle. The extra safe type with key locking bolts and some ammo and stuff.

One mother even had her daughter along they were picking out her 1st Single Shot 22 cal. Rifle, but with a Pink stock. (I can see her in 18 years with a concealed permit, got to love it)

Because of the Show table layout, it allowed for a nice smooth flow and purchasing pace. No doubling back was needed, just followed the flowing stream of attendees to the end and out the door.

I would estimate the constantly flowing show crowd at 300 moving in and out of the show hall, all the time we are there.

From what we saw, they should have an easy attendance total of 6,000 to 7,500 before the show ends tomorrow.

Columbia Co. Attracted:
a lot great vendors and attendees to the surrounding eatery's.
The side business will be the result for the Grovetown businesses.

An Columbia Co. built this conference center, quicker and did it for less than 25% (I heard) of what cost to build the T-center.

BTW: Columbia Co. Police did not present a omnipresent, they just checked and insured all weapons were clear made safe before entering the show floor.

OBTW: There was 2 things I almost forgot.

1. ) the K-9 protection group was there and like 100's of others we toss them some $$$ to help protect LEO K-9's.

2.) the Georgia Gun Owners Assoc was there. http://www.georgiagunowners.org/
Georgia Gun Owners Org. is the ONLY no-compromise, no-sell out grassroots gun organization in the State of Georgia.

RESEVERSAL UPDATE TO MY EARLIER COMMENT

SHUTDOWN

There has been NO capitulation by the RINO's, NO Sell out deal as announced this morning.

Rep. Boehner said in a room in the Capitol today (Saturday), there are no negotiations between House Republicans and the White House, Obama rejectedall the speaker’s efforts to lift the debt ceiling and reopen government while setting up a budget negotiating process in the mean time.

Obama rejected

IN CASE YOU LIBERALS AND SOCIALISTS MISSED IT

Obama rejected all discussions that would have restarted, returned worker their jobs, opened the parks and allowed for a 6 week Government temporarily increase in the debt ceiling. It wan NOT the RINO Party that said NO it was

clearly Obama was the one that rejected all negotiation offers.

BTW: Earlier in the Week when the polls showed OBAMA losing ground, President Obama said he had turned this all over to the Sen. Harry Reid?????? But now we see that wasn't exactly true.

Understatement

It is what we have come to expect, nocnoc. I'm talking about your last sentence about Obama's statements not being "exactly true." That is his mode. That is his norm. He can no more tell the truth than Bill Clinton could. At least Clinton sounded sincere. Obama cannot lie nearly as good as Clinton, but he can lie just as big and even more often.

Kinda funny

How the liberals can give all the thumbs down but can't give an opposing argument. Then again maybe not, how do you defend the indefensible?

Little Lamb: a series of unfortunate mistakes. that sure is a nice way to put it. it's more like being railroaded by a bunch folks that think they are above the law. I don't think this one is anywhere near over yet and I hope that bunch gets everything they deserve.

I know he's not worth the effort and it would be politically

incorrect, but I'd still like to see Rick create one of his masterpieces showing Greenbaum as a ventriloquist's dummy sitting on OzBama's lap.

Even if it could happen, who would recognize Lowell? Still, it would depict Greenbaum's true role in local politics.

I would be willing to bet if

I would be willing to bet if Greenbumm ever met Obama he would cry like a baby just looking at him in utter amazement. Personally, I would throw up. Has anyone told Greenbumm that Obama is not African American by the way? I guess it doesn't really matter to Democrats, just as long as you believe in giving other people's money away.
