The commercial is the grand prize for the IAMS Love Tails contest.

Contestants in the national contest submitted heartwarming videos showcasing their relationship with their pets. Fans of the pet food company voted on the IAMS Facebook page for their favorite of the top 11 entries. Underwood and Brooks were the fans’ favorite.

The video follows Underwood and Brooks as they visit a local nursing home. Brooks is a trained therapy dog, and they frequently visit assisted-living homes to bring joy to residents.

The commercial, which has been edited to fit a 30-second spot, will air between 7:30 and 9 a.m. during Monday morning’s broadcast of CBS’ This Morning, and between 8 and 9 p.m. Wednesday during NBC’s Million Second Quiz, according to a news release from IAMS.

IAMS will donate one bowl of food to pets in need every time Facebook or Twitter uses the hashtag #KeepLoveStrong.

One whole bowl?

Wow! Not a bag but a bowl. I wonder how big the bowls are.

And are "pets in need" the pets of people below the poverty line or are they pets in public and private shelters?

Just curious.

What a wonderful pair these two must be. I hope Brooks enjoys a long and healthy life.

Super. Just super.

Ain't nothing like the bond between man and dog...particularly when there are two like these two.
