Rants & Raves

  • Follow Metro

AS SAID IN the movie “Oh Brother:” Augusta needs some reform.

WHERE ARE ALL the protestes for the white boy who was beaten by three larger black boys? Prejudice is alive, but not by whites.

RANT TO THE MOTHER of Kyvan James. If she is so worried about her son, why is he out at 11 p.m. at 15 years old, and why would he run from the police on sight? She says they should realize he is a minor. Does she think minors don’t commit crimes?

RANT CONCERNING the new garbage pickup. I think they have had ample time to iron out their problems, but I still can’t get my garbage picked up except for one week out of three. I call and nothing happens. What is the problem with the city of Augusta that they can’t do a simple service for the citizen such as picking up trash on a normal schedule? I don’t understand this. I have been in the service industry for years. If I supplied the type of business I am receiving I would be out of business.

I ENJOY READING the Faith page. I wish you would write an article about the Church of Scientology.

BIG BIG RANT to the AC and the articles the paper printed about the Muslims, on the front page again. Who wants to know about a religion that demeans women and believes in violence, destruction, bombs and taking over the world?

A WOMAN LEAVES three pre-school kids in a parked car, with the windows down, and with no adult supervision, and the RCSD lets her drive off without even a warning?!?!?! How is that not child endangerment? Come on RCSD.

A TWIN PROPELLER plane crashed into a house in Arizona, killing several. There is no excuse for a twin to have crashed since any good twin will fly on one engine. This was clearly a tragic case of pilot error. Lately, we’re seeing more and more of these, even with commercial pilots crashing merely because they don’t pay attention to the basics. What’s going on?

I HOPE THE tax payers didn’t have to pay to have the president’s dog delivered to him on vacation.

Rave and Interesting read

GeorgiaTrends July 2013.

A good fluff piece, but filled with FACTS, on how and why AC & MCG consolidated.

How and why the secrecy until the last possible minute before it was announced.

It seems if GA. Trend is to be believed:
Yes Taxpayers were lied and it was a hidden smoke filled room deal.
But the consolidation may have saved Taxpayers $Millions$.

So a _______ gets his tail stomped

There lays the difference at looking at things through a different set of eyes.

No, I am not saying all, most, or even a notable double digit percentage of pany eople harbor this feeling. Just enough to made it a cultural problem that will result in more headlines in the future.

The Rant was about a white "child" that was assaulted by the flip side of the coin this time. An yes, there does appear to be a concerted effort by National media to play it down. The incident was sat on by certain media for weeks before national release, just like the Brunswick baby shooting did not get serious media attention until after a certain trial was also over.

Why?

Read about 2 yutes who beat a WWII vet to death, then we have the baby shot, just because your son is a minor doesn't mean he can't be a criminal! Where was his mother when he was out on the streets at 11pm? Did she know where he was?

Bradley Manning

So a convicted Traitor now wants to live his life as a woman and wants your tax dollars to pay for it. In my opinion this man has forfeited all rights to any services other than basic healthcare. His attorney says it would be cruel and unusual punishment if he can't get the treatment and surgery to become a woman. Just do like the rest of the prisoners do and sag your pants and you'll be treated like one in Leavenworth!! What happened to this country? We used to shoot or hang traitors! I think the only thing the Middle East has right is their ideas about crime and punishment!

carCraft makes a valid point

We need to get out the looking at the Age mentality, when it comes to the criminals.

88-year-old WWII vet beaten to death by two black 16-19 year old teens.

Dead is Dead no matter what the age of the Criminal that deliberately did it.

I wonder what their defense attorney will excuse use.
*violent Video games conditioned them into it?
* they were scared of him because of Fla.?
* They were just walking home and they saw it happen, but left the scene, so not to get blamed for being ________.

Sex change for a Leaker

In politics If you can't deny the message, then the options are:
shoot the messenger,
Deny the message arrived,
Rewrite the message,
Blame the source of the message,
Discredit the message or the source.

YES Likely the guy is a few fries short of as happy meal.

But, what he leaked opened up what the Obama Admin was doing at the State dept level. Plus allowed the US to see the mis-information the USA public was being fed in many situations.

While I do not condone his actions,
we also need to consider the reasons the Gov would have to publish the stories.

It is called a PR campaign of distraction.

Has anybody read some of the leaked info.
It sure does not help the Obama Admin now, or the Hillary campaign in 2016.

Spinning/Steering the story from the real message, is their only political hope.

Good Morning "Coming Soon" America.

Little insight Rant 6. Us bad uneducated conservative Americans know that the liberals of this Great country are the only ones that know how to handle our problems. Just look at their actions, recommend law making and end result of their mindset.

Here is what will be coming soon to our educational system to prevent all these school children from becoming pregnant.

Virginity Tests Proposed for Indonesian High School Girls

The head of an educational agency in this 'moderate' Muslim country says the tests will be a means to curb promiscuity.

Thu, August 22, 2013

An educational agency in Indonesia -- perceived to be a moderate Muslim country – has plans to conduct virginity tests on 16-18 year old girls as part of its senior high school admission requirements.

H.M. Rasyid, the chief of Prabumulih’s Education Agency, said that increasing instances of premarital sex and prostitution among female students prompted the move.

"We’re planning on conducting virginity tests for senior high school students," Rasyid said. "We have proposed it in the 2014 regional budget. If it is possible, the virginity tests will be carried out next year."

"This is for their own good," Rasyid said. "Every woman has the right to virginity … we expect students not to commit negative acts."

The plan – which would require each student to have her hymen examined every year of high school – was supported by local politicians as a way to decrease what is viewed in this conservative country as “rampant” promiscuity in the area.

"Virginity is sacred, thus it's a disgrace for a [female] student to lose her virginity before getting married," Hasrul Azwar, a member of the Islamist Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), was quoted as saying in the Jakarta Post.

The plan, however, has drawn the ire of legislators and education experts, who say that such an examination is a violation of personal space and an obstruction to a student’s right to an education. Two similar plans were proposed in Indonesia, one in West Java in 2007 and another in Sumatra in 2010, but shelved after public disapproval.

Dedi Gumilar, a lawmaker from the House of Representatives Commission X, which oversees educational matters, criticized the plan and questioned its constitutionality.

"Do we have a law stating that students must be holy? It’s written in the country’s constitution that every citizen has the right to education," he said.

Deputy chair of the National Commission on Violence Against Women, Masruchah said, "Virginity is a personal problem, and a person has the right over their own body. The [Prabumulih] Education Agency has no right to control a student’s body."

Masruchah said that a student’s morality should not be validated by whether or not they have had sexual intercourse. She advised Rasyid to consider including sexual education in the school’s curriculum instead of virginity tests.

"What if a student was a rape victim and failed the test?" Masruchah said. "It is possible for students to lose their virginity due to accidents."

Aris Merdeka Sirait of the National Commission for Child Protection said the plan was "just aimed for popularity." She said that, "Loss of virginity is not merely because of sexual activities. It could be caused by sports or health problems and many other factors," Sirait said. "We strongly oppose this very excessive move."

"It’s overrated. Morality cannot be determined by [a student's] genitals," he said. "What will they do with the test results? Are they going to reveal which students are not virgins?"

In a statement, The Woman Crisis Center (WCC) South Sumatra said the virginity test violated human rights because it was a private matter. "It’s harassment against women. The government should consider the impact of such a test on students," said the center’s chairwoman, Yeni Roslaini.

(Remember, our United States Constitution is almost history and what's left of it, is ignored by the Liberals and their leader, King SMNCICBHO, the Hammer & Sickle Man.)

I need at least 10 downers on this one!!

A woman in our world

The article said..
"We’re planning on conducting virginity tests for senior high school students," Rasyid said.
Wrong....it should read females not students...just the females .....as usual we pay a high price for bearing the young....we can't get pregnant without the help of a male but you would think it was all our
doing......sad, when it should be honored & appreciated....

This crazy treatment isn't just found in other countries either...we have politicians right here willing to insert instruments in a woman's body for whatever political reason they can muster.

Too many children are suffering right now because of the lack of discretion in choosing a mate.......we need to teach young men & women the importance of sex---the importance of parents----& honor the gift of life....we don't do that anymore.

I Ain't Smiling

If I’m ever at a function where Mike Annis is present, I’m not smiling come purgatory or high water. I don’t care if someone tells the funniest joke I’ve ever heard, my mouth and face will remain as stone faced as George Washington hiding his wooden teeth on Mr. Rushmore. Laughing in his presence is playing Russian roulette.

Last night on Fox news

Last night I saw 3 very intelligent black men talk about the problems in the minority neighborhoods...they made more sense than most politicians ...can't remember the names but West from Fla was one of the men....they said they were willing to walk the streets & talk with the kids....not blaming them but helping them with another outlook on life.

When the liberals stop pointing fingers & get this same attitude we might see a difference.

Charlie Rangel says

But you know something, Joy? There is no reason why a young person should have to pay for college education, because who does it benefit except a nation?

Well I'll be....free high school--free lunches---free college---free medical care----OMG...why not add free burials too...why not?

When will these numb nuts realize SOMEONE HAS TO PAY FOR FREEBIES!
Welcome to Detroit kind of thinking!

Question for Army Vets

The other day at Sarge's viewing he was clothed in what I called dress blues although it certainly wasn't the classic dark blue coat. It was a very light blue, almost gray. It certainly wasn't the dress green uniform. I think this is a very old version of dress blues. I have found at least one photo online. Harley, or anyone else, do you remember a different version of the dress blues that had a very light, almost gray coat?

None of the vocal black

None of the vocal black "leadership" says a word when the very same "trayvons" beat a white child on a school bus, beat an 89 year old vet to death in a parking lot, or go out and gun down a white teen from Australia who was just out jogging after they texted that they "hate whites". No marches....no speeches......no DOJ investigations......just normal accepted practice from black teens. The silence from the black community is deafening. The failure of the mainstream media to "front page" or "lead story at the top of the hour" these DAILY incidents is also indicative of the conspiracy to always and only make the black people the victims of racism. They must have gotten Eric Holder's memo about only recognizing crimes if the victims were minorities (black).

Yes, there IS racism in this country but it IS NOT all where old Al Sharpton and MSNBC tell you it is.
