I DON’T UNDERSTAND why Paine College has gone to all that expense to set up a police force when they are already in deep financial trouble. Why is it necessary in the first place to establish a 13-person police force on a small campus such as Paine College since the local police can handle (it)?

IF PAULA DEEN were black and Treyvon Martin were white, none of these things would have played out the same.

IF HILLARY CLINTON is to be our next president, she needs to take some time to improve her management skills. Among her obvious job failures (the Russia “reset”, Benghazi massacre, North Korea, Middle East chaos, etc.), she left State Department in a mess and national security at risk.

IF OBAMACARE IS so good, why is the administration continually using hard-sell tactics to promote it? President Obama keeps telling us that we are going to be paying less, and we will have more choices, but the overall feeling is that this is not true. I am sure someone will benefit from Obamacare, but it’s not going to be the general population who will have to pay more.

SINCE SOME OR all these commissioners who went on this “educational” trip have “degrees” from some of these rinky-dink colleges, I hope they actually learned something.

BLACK ON WHITE, nothing said; black on black, nothing said; white or Latino on black – oh man, here they come. Time to change.

DID ANYBODY NOTICE the same bags of trash on the Interstate 20 bridge going from Georgia into South Carolina? The same trash and tire debris has been there for months. It really set’s a good example for the folks living here. Get busy, road crew.

TRAFFIC CAMERAS ARE nice on Wrightsboro Road, but are really needed at Gordon Highway at Barton Chapel. Logging trucks are running this red light and North Leg light on a regular basis. I have had to hit brakes twice after proceeding to go through green light because of a truck not stopping.

"Look what Downtown is

"Look what Downtown is willing to give the South Side"

Well, George Patty is still here. And you can bet that if it is BAD for Southeast Richmond County......and if there is ANY influence from "important" people.......George Patty will grease the skids and slide this right on through.

You are looking at your past and your future Southeast Richmond County. HUD rental houses, Section 8 rental houses, cheap apartments, halfway houses, no shopping, no restaurants, and more break-ins and robberies. This is what you bought with your Consolidation vote and the last 17 years of your property tax money. It was the PLAN from the start...the Consolidation Plan.....the Boss Walker Plan....the Redevelop DownTown Plan......the George Patty Go Along With The Big Boys Plan, the Give 'Em Nothing and TAX Them More Plan. Anything BAD that wants to come to Richmond County goes in Southeast Richmond County. Consolidation......."consolidate" all of YOUR tax money Downtown while we "consolidate" all of the undesirables, welfare, Section 8, punks, thugs, parolees, drunks, and druggies out of sight and out of mind in Southeast Richmond County.

#3 R&R mentioned what a mess Hillary made at the State Dept.

What about her secretary/"friend?" Remember what Bill said about Hillary some time ago? LOL! Liberals probably love it!

There is no such thing as a free Lunch

SBI4
The taxpayers are covering it one way or another.
It is just a way for the National Socialist Liberals to control what our kids eat down to the lunchroom. Plus once it is started, try weaning them off the liberal breast.
An they know it.

ARC is dying on the vine and taxes on top of taxes and with a crime pattern similar to Westend in Atlanta. ARC will likely take between 30 and 45 years rebuild for those playing a Political Social Justice version of Sim-City.

BTW: SBI4 - we're also started looking in the Ga 136/Price Rd. Area outside of Dawsonville, North of Flowery Branch, Dahlonega and just off the North edge of the lake. Anything to avoid Gwinnett Co.
because it is like watching a Movie sneak preview of what is coming to ARC soon.

Fired because of headline aimed at Obama

By Jim Galloway

A Chattanooga newspaper editor has been fired for that “Take your jobs plan and shove it” headline that greeted President Barack Obama on his arrival to the city earlier this week.

We noted the rude nature of the greeting here.

The sacked editor, by the name of Drew Johnson, posted the above message via Twitter. You'll note that there's some disagreement about the precise cause of his dismissal. From the notice issued today by the Chattanooga Times Free Press:

The headline was inappropriate for this newspaper. It was not the original headline approved for publication, and Johnson violated the normal editing process when he changed the headline. The newspaper’s decision to terminate Johnson had nothing to do with the content of the editorial, which criticized the president’s job creation ideas and Chattanooga’s Smart Grid. The Free Press page has often printed editorials critical of the president and his policies.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press is unique in that it has two editorial pages, the conservative Free Press page and the liberal Times page. This newspaper places high value on expressions of divergent opinion, but will not permit violations of its standards.

I understand your concern about Gwinnett...many flocked here because of the outstanding school system...I just read that Gwinnett is te MOST diverse in the state of Ga....I can vouch for that right here in this neighborhood....French---many Asians also & some Black/Latino.....we are lucky & have some great neighbors.

Oh, I remember back in the

Oh, I remember back in the 80's, a certain classified ad in the Help Wanted section of the AC...boy, the whole county was talking about that one.

And the AC had to print an apology the next day.
