LET’S HOPE federal charges can properly be put forth to punish George Zimmerman for going against training and the direct word of law enforcement. How can you possibly say after that that Zimmerman was OK to stalk and physically attack someone just because they walked in his neighborhood and he didn’t recognize the person?

PEOPLE WHO WANT the military budget to pay for fireworks and flybys had get a better life outlook. With the bad economy, it is foolish to expect free and expensive entertainment by the military as a life necessity.

ERIC HOLDER IS at it again. Even though a jury has acquitted George Zimmerman, Holder wants the Justice Department to see whether any federal criminal charges are warranted. He just can’t (let) the jury verdict stand, and unfortunately he has given false hope to people who think that things will turn out differently.

I WISH WE COULD all get on with our lives now that the Zimmerman trial is over with a clear verdict. Unfortunately, we have the race-baiters stirring up fear and resentment thinking that sheer numbers will somehow turn the justice system around and find Zimmerman guilty (of what?). It’s time to move on with our lives and put things behind us.

UNFORTUNATELY, THE performance-based teacher evaluation system being tested across South Carolina will not have letter grades as part of the process. The letter grades, A through F, were a way to clearly communicate to teachers how they were performing. The educators felt that the letter grades would be degrading to the teachers. With the new process, how do we tell the good from the bad?

I GO TO WORK at 4 a.m. The traffic lights on River Watch and Riverwest and River Watch and I-20 will be red with no traffic. Going down Reynolds, the same problem. Is it that hard to fix this? One doesn’t have to attend the traffic course at Northwestern University to figure it out.

WONDERFUL! CAN WE get Stevie to boycott Georgia and South Carolina, too?

A BIG RAVE for Savannah at the Double B Plant Farm, off Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown. By chance, I went there looking for a “hard to find” shrub. They had what I needed at a very reasonable price, and I had the pleasure of being served by a delightful and knowledgeable young lady.

Hitler?

"He was inspired, just like Hitler was inspired by Jim Crow laws in America when he passed his laws against Jewish people."

I thought Hitler simply hated all Americans calling us an amalgam of races? What kind of information has surfaced that he was inspired by American segregation, bad as it was, to exterminate Jews?

Yucca Mountain

It is only a scandal because the Democrats won't let us use it for its intended purpose.

We would be infinitely better off. The Clintons crave popularity and legacy, and she would have done exactly what hubby did, which is govern more from the center. He woke up every day, walked out on the balcony, licked his finger and held it up to see which way the political wind was blowing that day. Obama decides what he wants and just stamps his feet if he doesn't get his way; or just side-steps the constitution and does what he wants anyway.

Yucca Mountain

It's more than that. The Fed has collected Billions from utilities, You the paying customer, for Yucca Mountain. Harry Reid and his minions have made billions to string it along then scratch it when it was supposed to open, causing utilities to spend millions more to store used or spent fuel onsite. It's more than a scandal. it's out and out political cronyism and theft!!

No, Little Lamb. I grew up in

No, Little Lamb. I grew up in California. It's all earthquake country in that area. It doesn't take a lot of common sense to know that would be a terrible place to store nuclear waste.

It was NEVER an appropriate site. NEVER. It has nothing to do with any political party and was all about Ronnie helping out Paul.

Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository

Had to brush up on some facts....

"Although the location has been highly contested by both environmentalists and non-local residents in Las Vegas, which is over 100 miles (160 km) away, it was approved in 2002 by the United States Congress.

However, under the Obama Administration funding for development of Yucca Mountain waste site was terminated effective via amendment to the Department of Defense and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, passed by Congress on April 14, 2011. The US GAO stated that the closure was for political, not technical or safety reasons.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yucca_Mountain_nuclear_waste_repository

It started under President Cater as a study in 1978.
In 1987, Congress amended the Nuclear Waste Policy Act and directed DOE to study only Yucca Mountain, which is already located within a former nuclear test site.

On July 23, 2002, President George W. Bush signed House Joint Resolution 87.

The Department of Energy was to begin accepting spent fuel at the Yucca Mountain Repository by January 31, 1998 but did not do so because of a series of delays due to legal challenges, ..... and political pressures resulting in underfunding of the construction.

It seems based on WIKI it became a money pit because of liberal environmentalists and President Obama Killing it.

So how was President Regan to blame again?

To ranter #1- if a 911

To ranter #1- if a 911 dispatcher is law enforcement, then the country is in a sorry state, because I have talked to 911 dispatchers that are as dumb as a box of rocks.

Case in point- I was in an auto accident in March. I called 911. I gave the exact address. It was a Walmart parking lot, there aren't any other Walmart for miles. I gave the cross street (a State highway).

The police officer arrived. He was using his blue lights, he knew he had gotten a call. While I was speaking to him, 911 called back and said, "We don't know where you are at, we can't send a police officer, where are you?"

HUH??? Who am I talking to then, a clever imposter?

I could hear the sirens of a fire truck approaching, I guess they just sussed it out, too.

I said, "There's a police officer already here and the fire department is coming."

The dispatcher said, "Oh', and then hung up.

And if a 911 dispatcher is a member of law enforcement, then I'm Angie Dickinson, Police Woman.

I am personally a huge fan of

I am personally a huge fan of nuclear power, it puts food on my table and has provided my husband with a job for 44 years.

However, Yucca Mountain was a terrible idea from day one.

And I am not a tree hugger, a member of the Sierra Club, or part of the No Nukes movement.

It was a very bad idea from the start. And I dont know if any of you have ever been in a big earthquake, but if you have, you respect them. A lot. And whenever you see mountains in the desert, you KNOW that you are on the edge of an earthquake fault, because that's how the mountains got there in the first place.

Who would think it's a good idea to store nuclear waste on top of an earthquake fault?

Harry Reid Was Right!!!

After all we were once part of the super continent, Pangea. It split into our continents. What’s wrong with y’all thinking the hundred million dollar study by scientists choosing Yucca Mt. was bogus? Harry Reid was right, you dummies. Just pile all the wastes on the Richmond County Dump because there are no mountains nearby.

Yucca Mountain

Well, guess what, you are still paying for Yucca Mountain! The Fed is still collecting billions from utilities for storage facilities, all the while coming up with more regulations for storing nuclear waste right here in the good old CSRA!!! And Harry Reids constituents are profiting from it!!!!!

President Carter

If it weren't for Carter we'd be able to recycle fuel and have a lot less "spent fuel" that needs to be stored! He put the kill on that!!

Too Old

In 2016 Hillary Clinton will turn 69 years old. That's entirely too old to start a presidency.

Dang, Corgi

You know it all, but you don't know about the fault that in all practicallity runs up under SRS? Granted, not as active as the left coast ones. But the Charleston earthquake was felt all the way to Boston. And it isn't dead. We felt 2 tremors in the early 70's to the extent that the bed quivered and the house shivered and rattled. Both were only 3's.

What kind of information has

What kind of information has surfaced that he was inspired by American segregation, bad as it was, to exterminate Jews?

You know how the South had the laws about blacks couldn't use the water fountains, the streetcars, the bathrooms, the libraries, etc?

He thought that was a great idea, and used that for his laws against Jewish people.

As for the Final Solution, that wasn't all his idea, that was his nasty little hanger-on SS officers. "On January 20, 1942, they attended the Wannsee Conference in Berlin, organized by SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, who told them, “In the course of the practical execution of the Final Solution, Europe will be combed through from west to east.” "

It was genocide in the name of religion, it has been practiced for centuries, and is still occuring today.

At least Hill finally released her locked up college records. What do you think Obama is still hiding, after all of these years?

You would think that a potus who has no problem with agencies under his control snooping into all aspects of our lives would have no problem exposing his.

Granted, when you become an elected public figure, you "usually" lose your right to privacy. Obammy did not.

One thing for sure

Several Nazi Doctors and a basic Nazi policy of NOT feeding useless mouths was gleaned from early American Doctors writings and some limited early implementations in the state of Illinois.

Read the book "Doctors from Hell"Written by: Vivien Spitz

It will give some insight into the practices and beliefs between 1900 & the 1930's.
