Police are on the scene to clear a fallen tree from the road near Pendleton and Woodland roads, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office dispatch said Sunday afternoon.

Officers have also responded to call for a fallen tree in the 400 block of Waverly Drive. The tree is blocking the road, and power lines are also down, dispatch said.

A downed tree in the 1100 block of Eisenhower Drive has been removed from the road.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office dispatch said there have been no reports of outages or road blockages at this time.

Lakestone Court, which collapsed Monday when a pipe underneath the road gave way during heavy rain, has had no extra damage, dispatch said. The road was recently filled with gravel to prevent further damage.

North Augusta, which received more than 6 inches of rain Monday, has received no calls for flooding or power outages at this time, Public Safety Sgt. Maurice Ransom said.
