I disagree,Not with the fact

I disagree,

Not with the fact the AC and those list were acknowledged.
That i agree with vehemently.

But the fact some were not acknowledged at all:

Sylvia Cooper , because wit & humor makes a poison pen fun to read.

Sean Moore, because there is more to running a paper than reporting.

These are the 2 that come quickly to the top of my Forgotten warriors
list.

Maybe we need to have a thumbs up / Thumbs down on the articles/reporters also ?

One more award for The News-Times

The list here left out one award for The News-Times, which actually won 16. There weren't enough entries in Editorial Writing in The News-Times' category (large-circulation non-dailies that print more than once per week), so it moved up to compete with second-tier dailies - and won first place in the state.

nonoc, I agree with you.

nonoc, I agree with you. There are lots of components to a newspaper that have no categories. Most of the categories involve writing and photos. There are only a few for newspaper design (layout/design, headline writing, best section), and only one that involves the website (beyond best web photo). And yes, Sean deserves a gold medal.

2nd, 3rd, 4th..............................

nominations for Sean to get an award. He works tirelessly throughout his regular hours at the paper and he responds when you need him after hours. He truly is a great contributor to the AC's success and yes he also slaps our wrists at times when we get too excited with our comments!

Thanks Sean!
