An Augusta man won a half-million dollars from a scratch-off ticket at a Grovetown store.

Robert Bennett Jr., 37, won the top prize in the instant game Hidden Treasure after purchasing the ticket at M&M Food Mart, 317 E. Robinson Ave.

“I stopped at the store for gas and bought tickets inside the store,” Bennett said. “I was surprised.”

The winner said he has no immediate plans for his winnings and is “trying to figure it all out.”

Well, I've bought "Hidden Treasure"

tickets in the past, but I won't be doing that again anytime soon. The biggie has "left the building".

And a big thank you to all of those

LOSERS who paid for your HAPPY DAY. We never hear of all of the LOSERS who contribute to the funds. Or the WINNERS who are merely skimming from the top daily. Not to mention the windfall in tax revenue for the government. Redistribution of wealth has made one person happy. Success is ours. Play on!!!!

The numbers racket goes legit. Once we jailed 'em. Now we cheer 'em.

Government liquor legal. Government gambling legal. Government drugs legal. Even government prostitution is legal in NV.

Yup, treat yourself to a nice

Yup, treat yourself to a nice vacation; maybe an updated vehicle (not extravagant though), and save the rest. It is enough money to pad your old age nest egg, but not enough to "play" with.
