Deputies were directing traffic on Washington Road at Columbia Road after a vehicle crash knocked out the traffic signal control box early Monday.

While Columbia County’s Traffic Engineering workers replaced the controls, west-bound left turns from Washington to Columbia was no  allowed, and nearby Ruth Street was closed.
