Melanoma 5K fundraiser Saturday

The Melanoma Research Foundation will hold its fourth 5K run/ walk at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Lake Olmstead Park to raise money for the study and prevention of America’s most dangerous form of skin cancer.

The most dangerous form of skin cancer, melanoma is caused mainly by intense, occasional UV exposure (frequently leading to sunburn) and kills an estimated 8,790 people in the nation annually.

Great cause

and a very well run event. This is very family-oriented. Looking forward to running it again this year. Looks like the temps will be perfect.
