ANDERSON, S.C. — Authorities say a baby girl was dropped off at an Anderson hospital this week.

The Department of Social Services says the healthy infant was left at AnMed Women and Children’s Hospital on Monday.

Under Daniel’s Law, a child up to 30 days old can be dropped off at designated locations throughout the state.

This was the second child in a week abandoned in Anderson. On April 1, a 4-year-old girl was left on the doorstep of an Anderson home.

That child’s parents have been arrested and charged with neglect.
