THAT WOMAN WHO lives in Miles Park but tried to say she was from Hyde Park to try to get $44,000 is not the only one.

IT USED TO BE GOOD foreign policy and political strategy to send pots of money to other countries, but not anymore. The gesture doesn’t mean as much and it did 30-40 years ago. It’s time to circle the wagons and save our own people. Those other countries hate us, so why bother?

LET SEQUESTRATION run its course. Just like everything else, it will right its course and will be over.

JUST WHAT DOES ONE do to be worth $639,000? Really.

THAT NEW CLYDESDALE Budweiser commercial makes me cry.

AFTER SEEING THE salaries of some of the people who run the county, I think Richmond County is getting duped. I wish some of these administrators could take some furlough leave instead of these poor people who are actually doing a job.

RAVE FOR GHSU College of Dental Medicine. Jessica and Patrick, since I have been to you, I can smile again.

RANT TO GEORGIA Internal Revenue. I was looking for some filing papers. I went to Davis Road and they said the IRS would not allow them to print any out. They said I have to do it online. I am 80 and don’t have a computer. How can I do it online without a computer?

RICHMOND COUNTY needs to patrol housing projects, especially near Rosier Road. Stop the late-night walkers and ask them what they are doing in our neighborhoods.

OHIO SEN. ROB Portman was anti-gay marriage. Then he found his son was gay and suddenly he’s changed 180 degrees. If he found out his son was a bank robber, would he suddenly come out pro-bank robbery?

Walmart shopping center

I guess the Village at Riverwatch, Augusta Exchange area, Augusta mall, Carmax area, and the future 44 acre development at I-20/Walton Way Extension in West Augusta is still by far the preferred choice for the more upscale amenities.

I always knew something would eventually come to North Augusta near the exit 5 area. I expected more in terms of quality, but this is still good news for North Augusta.

A new Walmart shopping center is opening near exit 5.
http://www.wrdw.com/home/headlines/New-Walmart-coming-to-North-Augusta-2...

The metro has more than enough Walmarts for now. The new store coming to Wrightsboro rd, the neighborhood market in the old Food Lion in Martinez, and possibly another market(hopefully Publix instead) coming to the 25 acre development in the Medical District. The one located in Evans is under renovation, and the Walmart in South Augusta is about to undergo a major remodeling.

New Term Invented....

"Opposite sex marriage." Thereby establishing it as just another option among the rational and acceptable marriage choices.

Is there any doubt about the intentions of the Hammer & Sickle Man as to what he has in mind for America. We are almost to the point of his TOTAL TRANFORMATION. You can rest assure his personal army will be made up of nothing but Liberals. True Americans will witness the worst holocaust that has every been experienced in past history

"Is there any doubt about the intentions...

There's no doubt in my mind, CG. I just post this stuff in here to (hopefully) get other people to THINK and maybe even talk about it.

I think any reasonable, rational person would have looked at Obama's past, his past relationships, and everything we couldn't find out about him and concluded he shouldn't be elected in the first place. Then, after four years of watching his actions, not electing him for a second term. My problem was that I gave voters too much credit. They are NOT reasonable and rational people. They are generally uninformed/misinformed sheep who, no matter what he DOES, still believe what he SAYS.

I have no doubt what he plans to do with the armed force he is assembling with the tax dollars of the very people he plans to oppress. I don't think you have any doubt either.

Answered My Own Question

reported yesterday, concerns about the apparent arms build-up are growing, with retired United States Army Captain Terry M. Hestilow sending a letter to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) warning that the ammo purchases represent “a bold threat of war by that agency (DHS), and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America.”

Questions from members of Congress about why the federal agency is buying up ammo, exacerbating shortages across the country, have been met with silence.

- Kansas Congressman Timothy Huelscamp said last week that threats should be made to withdraw funding from the DHS if it didn’t explain why it was purchasing so many bullets, remarking, “They have no answer for that question. They refuse to answer to answer that.”

- Earlier this month, New Jersey Congressman Leonard Lance said, “Congress has a responsibility to ask Secretary Napolitano as to exactly why these purchases have occurred,” signaling his intention to get answers.

- Californian Congressman Doug LaMalfa and 14 of his House colleagues have written a letter to the Department of Homeland Security asking if the purchases are, “being conducted in a manner that strategically denies the American people access to ammunition.”

Although members of Congress are treating the matter with the seriousness it deserves, the mainstream and leftist media have attempted to ridicule the entire issue as a conspiracy theory, with Atlantic Wire even suggesting that the story had its origins in a debunked email, a report that completely failed to even mention the admitted fact that the DHS had purchased around 2 billion bullets.

While the DHS continues to purchase bullets in large quantities, police departments have been forced to barter amongst each other in a desperate scramble to meet their ammo needs.

Border Security

You can bet your bottom dollar Homeland Security is not buying up guns, ammo, and vehicles for the purpose of enforcing immigration laws along the Mexican border!

It's Caused By....

...Congress appropriating large blocks of money to Executive Branch departments with very unspecific identifications of how it must be spent. Too much latitude is given because Congress is too lazy to be specific and the Executive Branch would complain too bitterly about Congress "meddling" in their business.

Still, Congress has the Constitutional responsibility for oversight of the operation (including spending) of the Executive. Problem is that they don't do it. Partially because the Executive refuses to cooperate, but mainly because they lack the stones to actually do their job.

I personally believe the

I personally believe the government agencies have been told to buy up as much ammo as possible in order to drive the price up and keep civilians from stocking up. They hope to get some kind of restriction on ammunition purchases passed through Congress and are trying to keep the price as high as possible until they do.

Either that, or they are in fact anticipating a financial collapse and the inevitable riots that will ensue. They probably fear it will evolve into a full blown revolution against our oppressive socialist government. They may well be considering bank account seizures in this country. How do you think that would go over? After all, we all know we have a debt that we cannot possibly pay down, much less pay off. Wouldn't you think it wise for them to stock up before they announced something like that?

I Agree....

..that both scenarios are probably in play here, with the latter being the main driver.

Nothing else makes much sense.

It was said on here yesterday

It was said on here yesterday that there was no national news report on the baby that was shot and killed in Brunswick,GA. Angela wanted me to post a link. It is easy to go to a news site and type in what you want to find. I happen to see a link without even searching for it. I have seen an interview with the mother, and the father commented too. Anderson Cooper talked about the shooting too. There are plenty of stories about it in the news. Maybe your fox network saw no cause to tell you about it.

I posted these links because

I posted these links because someone said the story was not on national news.I did not post all the links. I saw it on the national news the day it happened, so to say it has not been in the national news is not true.
