Organizers of the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade held in downtown Augusta are looking for marching bands and groups to register for the parade.

All parties must contact parade chairman Jim Thrash by March 11. Email

The parade will be held March 16 beginning at 2 p.m. Entrants assemble and leave from the James Brown Arena parking lot.

Entrants from past parades must register this year. Entry fees will vary depending on the type of group, Thrash said.
